  1. None. Regardless of how much I love a film (Princess Bride is the greatest ever BTW) I can not sit and watch it over and over. Including the Holy Trilogy, which puts me to sleep anymore. I think it is knowing what happens next, and putting me in a relaxed state with which I am very comfortable. Next thing I know, I am waking up and watching the Death Star blow up.
  2. The .40 always had the second pin. It adds strength. The pin was added to the 9mm later. I would assume it was added to increase strength as well.
  3. 2nd Gen Glock: 3rd Gen Glock: G35 versus the G22 above:
  4. Gen 2 Glocks don't have finger ridges on the grip frame or the accessory rail under the barrel. Gen 3 Glocks have these. The G22 is a full size pistol. The G35 is the extended barrel model, generally considered a 'Target Model.' I posted pictures below. Now, with all that done. The only Glock I own is a 19. I like it. The trigger is an interesting learning experience, but it doesn't detract from the entire package. The gun is simple to maintain, as accurate as required and dead nuts solid.
  5. Congrats to the winner. Awesome job to the donator.
  6. Same guys were here in Knoxville, with the Coffins. They seemed pretty decent, both in price and attitude.
  7. I was just saying I am glad everyone had a good time.
  8. Glad everyone had fun. I spent the day tearing an engine apart.
  9. Great thread. Made me pull my cap and ball revolver out and clean it. I had no clue about the oils. I had been using Remoil on mine for years.
  10. Why are the mags only partially finished? Does the Duracoat add to much to the tolerances to make them fit properly if completely coated?
  11. Count me in. That gets you closer to 20.
  12. My first pistol was a Single Six. I love them. Heritage makes a cheap little clone of the Single Six that seems well liked for the price, but it isn't a Ruger. I have been thinking of picking up a Walther P22 for plinking and getting my wife to warm up to guns, but I don't care for how it fits in my hand.
  13. I don't know about the 'limits' but I do know that if you feel uncomfortable about it, get it checked out or pass. I passed on a pretty little pearl handled Colt that I could have gotten for a nice deal because it had too much play in the cylinder. It was pretty, and would have been nice in my collection, but bugger it, I want to shoot them.
  14. They sure do look fun.
  15. Dry firing is fine with a Glock. It is the easiest way to learn the trigger on it as well. I have a G19 and I find that the trigger is very predictable, once you learn the take-up (safe action) and break. I have noticed that after ~100 rounds or so, my fingertip gets sore from the safe action trigger though. Other than that, I am completely satisfied with my Glock and find it to be very accurate.
  16. I have heard good things about Spikes. I know nothing personally, but what I have read has lead me to contemplate purchasing an EBR from them.
  17. I own a few cars. I went to the dark side about ten years ago and bought a Toyota, after owning domestic my whole life. I have a pair of Celicas (my main project car is a `90 Celica) as well as a Corolla wagon. My wife's car is a Buick Regal GS, the one with the 3800 Series II Supercharged. I also still have some domestic love. My `67 Chrysler New Yorker.

    Ruger LCR KaBoom

So much for that LCR in .357 I had been wanting. I don't want anything to do with them now.
  19. Stripped lowers can be found from $60-$150 depending. Some of the higher names go for more, but rarely will you find a stripped lower for more than $200. Most of the $60 are gonna be blemished from the lower end names, but I have seen some decent guns made out of them.
  20. I had a good experience at this show. I am sad to see that so many others didn't.
  21. Amateur adult film actress, pulled over by a cop. Personal favors ensued. Pictures happened. It didn't go well for the cop. She became slightly famous. Happened less than 10 years ago, I think.
  22. Was cool meeting those of you that I met. There were a few good deals there, if you were looking. Not a lot, but a few.
