I say we bring back Public Executions I believe the last (official). Public execution was done in 1936. Since then, crime has been on the raise. Took me a second after a long hard day at work, I tried to read DROF for a second. :D Beside what that is, it could also be the sound of the event. I hope they have increased the number of likes we get in a day, I have spent a ton on this thread.

That has been a very enlightening thread. I spoke with my co worker about this, the one that I had an on going debate with about Wars of the Worlds. I had remembered it in Black and white and later saw in color and known how old it was, I incorrectly assumed they had make it, and remade it. But all the research I had done only showed me the color one. I now believe it was filmed in color and had the multiple releases. I ran that by my co worker today and then I brought up The African Queen. He then said he thought it was black and white and later colorized. I let him know what has been said her and he was taken back. He said he was going to have to look into that.

Thanks for the vote of confidence with the YET. -
I have said that for years. One thing, I wonder they got up that morning intent on doing something like that or if they just acted spur of the moment target of opportunity. I mean, with the heinous nature of that, I just can't see how that was a first attempt. Makes me wonder if there are other victims or not.

I had a Bag Phone. plugged into cigarette lighter and had no battery. That is about right. I got my Thunderbird in 97 and I remember fill it up with 93 octane across the line in kY for like 90 some cent a gallon. I was only making about 8-9 bucks an hour then but had no real bills and with the cheap gas I felt like I had good money.

Actually it is this coming weekend. When I posted my other thread I was stilling my plan together on what all I planned to do. I am going to go to several places on Broadway and perhaps even leave Broadway for a while. -
I reminder gas prices at 1 dollar a gallon, sometimes in the .90 cent range. Now I feel like my uncle telling me he used to buy gas for .30 cent a gallon.

As I said, I just remembered seeing itas black and white. When you google it images of color and black and white frames are available. I agree with the way tanker explained it as that seems to fit. So yea, i believe now it started as colar and I just happened to get to see it in black and white for what ever reason.

I believe that story is located on Broadway in Nashville.

But I was a bit concerned when I found out they are half off if you "model" them for his fall catalog. I didn't feel right, but half off is half off. Then thats what he said.

Holy, that answers an disagreement a coworker and I have for years about the Original War of the Worlds. I remember watching it in Black and white and I searched and searched and never found a reference to it being in black and white only in color. He said there was only one back then and I thought there was 2 as I remembered a black and white and a color one.

It all comes down to they want money and were probably glad you contacted them as I bet they had long since quit sending you bills even though it was still on their books.

no pictures available right now, but I had a Honda z50r Most mini bikes these days do not look anywhere as good as the Z50Rs did. For such a small bike, it had some good power. I remember Dad riding it, and pulling some hills that you would not believe I took it up. Some that normally required 4 wheel drive. Everyone in the county it seems rode that bike. It was almost unstoppable. After I was done with it, one of my cousins had it for a few years. Lost track of it after it was sold again. Got it when I turned 8 and wreaked it day one, first ride. Had that bike until I was in 6th grade when dad got me a Honda 100, used. The bike had some issues but slowly got them worked out. Really liked that. Then about 14 or so, dad got me a Honda 175 XL, street trail bike (1974 model.) It was geared to high for the riding I did, but we changed the re sprocket from I believe 38 to 50 teeth. It geared down about 2 gears. It would climb a tree. At 16, dad got me a 1986 Honda Rebel 250. The think was beautiful. Made my license on it. Still have it, but it needs a major restore now. I have started looking into what I need to fix it but not happy.
