Interesting. I'd like to know about the quality of these too (does have a lifetime warranty). Wouldn't mind getting one for my Rock Island and mount my Viridian to it to reclaim my M&P .40 as my carry gun.

I conceal when I'm in public. On private property, I'll open, but only if I'm shooting.

Good to see a new shooter. I wished I had video'd my wife the first time she shot my AR. First shot "Hey, this doesn't kick at all, how do I shoot again?" "It'll shoot every time you pull the trigger" "How fast?" "As fast as you can pull the trigger" (pop.....pop....pop...pop...pop..pop..pop.pop.pop.pop.pop.pop)"HAHAHAHAHA, THIS IS AWESOME". The whole time I was thinking, "What have I done?!"

Teaching a lesson is not punishment. It's a learning device.

Pregnant wife. Gotta keep her happy. Haha

I just don't know why people think it's a good idea to walk around with an AR-15 strapped to your body in public. It raises flags for EVERYONE, and for what purpose? Want to make a stand for guns? Take someone out to the range and introduce them to how fun and safe they can be. I've converted a lot of people by doing this. This is much more effective than "LOOK AT MY EVIL BLACK RIFLE! I'M DOING THIS LEGALLY, TRY AND TAKE MY RIGHTS!". Don't get me wrong, I love my guns rights as much as the next person, but that doesn't mean I have to force my views into everyone's face. There is a way to be tactful about protecting our rights. The extreme will never accomplish anything.

The best thing to do is try out as much as you can. Find what's comfortable and practice, practice practice. A lot of it is just personal preference, with truth mixed in.

I've come to the conclusion that life is too short to really be worried about this kind of thing. Sure, a bit entertaining to think about, but think about how inept our government is. You really think they'd be able to pull off something of this scale? I don't. And say you're right about the mark of the beast and all that, well I plan on leaving when the Rapture comes, so it's really a moot point.

I think this is awesome. Obviously the dad cares for his son or else he would have been waving to him every morning in the first place. I bet half those kids on his bus wish they had a dad that took that much interest in them. Face it, kids don't know what's good for them, that's why parents are in charge. This guy showing that he's not going to stop being interested in his kid will speak volumes later on in the kid's life, and in a positive way.

If that makes you nauseous, you probably don't want to read and watch this.....

Please let this be true. He's a walking cancer on every program he touches.

Just dropped $2k on my .308 this month, BUT my birthday is on the 30th. Wonder what the wife would think.....

I hope he leaves. As a Tennessee fan, I'm not supposed to worry about Vanderbilt every year.

I love my Rock Island. Great gun for the price.

Ever looked at a Rock Island or a basic Remington 1911?
-
Bought mine for $600 or 700 when they first came out. Been a great gun.

Went through this about the same time too. Ended up getting a Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 FFP MRAD. Haven't shot it yet, but like what I've seen so far.

Sounds really entertaining. Love this quote: "A. The Trident that I wear is not mine to do with as I wish. It’s borrowed, and I wear that with the permission and endorsement of the men that went before me, the men that I trained who are in now and operating, and the ones yet to come. That is not something that I can pimp out, or that I will allow someone to merchandise. I am a former SEAL. But what I’m doing has nothing to do with our operational techniques in the teams, and it never will. And it also will never be something I talk about past a very shallow level."

Rip Taylor would love those.

Picture an awesome new ammo design. Now think the opposite. Now you know what it is.

Exactly, never shoot to wound. Shoot to neutralize.

I've had Kershaw and it was a really good knife (great customer service btw). Then I bought my Benchmade Barrage and made the Kershaw feel cheap. I highly recommend Benchmade. And of course there is always Emerson.... (have a Combat Karambit on backorder right now, can't get here soon enough).

Just waiting to be stopped by clothing.
