  1. I'm not as much concerned about velocity as I am reliablity. Still trying to decide between a 8.5" or a 10.5" barrel. I like the 8.5 for being more compact. Thanks for all the information and pics on this. Thanks Jeff
  2. I emailed PSA about the gas port size.
  3. I was planning on getting this upper from PSA. Barrel Length 10.5" Carbine Gas System Nitride finish Barrel 4150V Chrome Moly Vanadium barrel steel 5.56 NATO Chamber 1 in 7" Twist Rate Chrome Lining - None Barrel Extension: M4 Hand guard Type: PSA Classic Polymer F-Marked Front Sight Post Muzzel Thread: 1/2-28 Muzzle Device: A2 Flash Hider
  4. The SBR's are fun and cool looking, I have a Krinkov I've had for years. It's just a PITA to do the paperwork and stuff for the stamp.
  5. I'll probably get a shock wave brace when I get mine together.I think that's the cheapest route.
  6. That sounds good.i would be shooting steel case ammo mostly when target shooting. I don't like chasing down brass.Do you have a brace on yours?
  7. I do reload, but wasn't planning on reloading for it.Probably just carry it in the truck and have it for plinking.I reload 223 mostly for accuracy in my AR rifles and 223 bolt guns. So you don't think a 7.5 or 8.5 inch would be dependable with Wolf of PMC Ammo?
  8. I'm gonna buy a pistol upper from PSA, but confused on what length barrel to get.I was going to go with the 10.5 inch, but would maybe a shorter one like the 7.5 or 8.5 inch. Will the shorter barrel lengths function like they are suppose to?Ice read that anything shorter than a 10.5 won't run well.
  9. I have a extra complete lower I "NEED" to get a upper for one of these days. I got a AR Stoner upper from Midway last year when they where on sale and really like it! 1-9 twist. Also been watching PSA's deals on uppers. Most of theirs are 1-7 twist, which I don't want. They do have a few 1-8 twist every once in a while. Do y'all think the complete upper prices will fall any more? Not hurting for one , I just think because I have a complete lower I need a upper for it .
  10. I guess what I'm asking is it legal for inviduals from 2 different states to do trading or selling. You don't really know the gun laws in the state that your selling too .Which ones don't allow what. Also do you think there would be ATF's set ups there trying to " catch " or " get " somebody?
  11. As crazy as everything has got , I wasn't sure about selling or buying from individuals.
  12. Is it legal to carry a long gun at the creek to sell?
  13. I want to spend around $80 to $120 on one.Just one to use every now and then. Really don't want to spend $300 on one.It would be different if I used one several times a week.
  14. I'm just looking for a good simple one that's not expensive.I got a friend that has a Caldwell that works good.
  15. I was just checking to see if was as good a show as it was years back.Didnt know if the ammo prices had much of a affect on it or not.
  16. Anybody going?I hadn't been in a few years,a friend of mine went in Oct. and said they wasn't much shooting going on.Not as much as he has seen in past shows.
  17. I just read this on their website. I really hate to hear this , they are really nice people, and I really liked their bullets! Plus they are in TN.
  18. Has any of y'all ever used these primers?
  19. Just ordered the press itself.I thought I had a guy that wanted the scales ,and other extra stuff. He changed his mind ,so I just got the press.
  20. I had to work all weekend! FUN!
  21. Thanks for the offer Sunfish, but I've sold the partner.I think I'm gonna get the RCBS turret kit and sell the stuff that I already have and don't need extras.
  22. The Lee presses seem like they are cheap made, may not be.I have a RCBS Rock Chucker and a RCBS partner ,I bought for a spare. If I bought a turret press I planned on selling the Partner press.I'll check out the Lee press.
