  1. Yep, it does. Good job, David.
  2. Got my new TGO cap today. Looks good in the camo color.
  3. Yep, finally got them all cleaned. Have fun sorting, LOL.
  4. Got my renewal notice in the mail today, expires in June, also. Got to go to the DMV for a new photo. Another $50 out of pocket. 8 yrs this time, by then I'll be 82, probably can't even read the dang thing, LOL.
  5. Guy's a flake. He'll never make it past my mail box. Doubt he's ever been shot or shot at. I've been both. One round, he'll be soiling his pants. These people crack me up!
  6. By all means, shop around. A mortgage is no different than buying a car, prices vary. And, as peejman said, just because you buy a mortgage local, doesn't mean it'll stay local. Not unusual for a mortgage to be sold off, sometimes more than once. Good luck, congratulations.
  7. My favorite right now, is an old H&R single shot 16 ga. w/ 30" bbl & full choke. Light as a feather & shoots quite well. Looked up the Mod. & ser#, and it was made in 1947. Just 3 yrs younger than me, LOL. Prior to that, an even older Crescent Arms 12ga double, both bbls wide open. My pa sawed 2" of the bbls yrs ago. Rabbit ear hammers. Still shoots good. Think it was made round the 1930's. Can't find any info to pin that down.
  8. GT, it's a well know fact, that some of these are paid & have said so. I call them "serial protesters" , as they go from cause to cause. They help to stir the pot for others.
  9. Nice to get a reply. Still haven't heard from my request for $$$ donated on the 24th. Maybe they're still counting, LOL Thanks for the effort Bersa!
  10. Well, the background system is flawed due to lack of timely reporting, & acting on red flags when they do appear, as the FBI failed to do. Now did you see anyone marching on the FBI's doorstep this weekend? NO. They want to blame the GUN. Until the people/organizations responsible for dropping the ball are held accountable, it's not going to change. Is Congress grilling the FBI, nope, they're grilling Facebook over a lack of security ( which evidently is more important than peoples lives).
  11. Ordered a new stainless recoil spring assembly a few days ago, got it in last week. Installation was simple & easy. Finally got a chance today to put it to the test. It performed flawlessly, no issues. Actually there were no issues with the original plastic assy. just wanted to make the upgrade ( you know how it is, LOL ) New assy was from LakeLine LLC. Good folks to do business with seems like.

  12. They're kidding, right?
  13. Scooter, as Greg said, we get it that you're not all that fond of the NRA, for one reason or another. No need to keep repeating yourself. No one is disagreeing that NRA isn't perfect. What you need to understand as well, is the fact, that if not for the NRA, we would be in one hell of a fix right now. Apparently, they have done some good to keep the Libs on their case constantly. You don't hear them on these other mentioned organizations case, so apparently they don't wrinkle the Libs feathers as does the NRA. Personally, I don't agree with all the NRA decisions, but I do realize they are the 800 lb. gorilla in the room. Certainly, you are entitled to your opinion, and you have stated it. Move on please......
  14. True, but I said it's useless to "me".
  15. My squad leader in 'Nam was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in '68 or '69. He came in under fire when I was wounded & could not get up, got me and 2 others as well. Assaulted 2 bunkers, wiped them out with hand grenades. I likely would not have made it, if not for Kenneth E. Stumpf. He returned to active duty at the Armies' request, stayed in 29 yrs., came out Sgt. Major.
  16. Social media is for folks that are bored stiff. I got off FB, because to me it's useless as teats on a boar hog. JMHO
  17. Yep! Therein lies the rub. $10, the State is not going to do without easily.
  18. Update....I sent a request to NRA ILA in regards to the total amount donated, membership, etc connected with Mar. 24th. Advised them this request came from members of TGO, and that it was done for support & that we are here & watching. We'll see what, if anything, happens. At the least we tried. I'll post any reply I may get. Larry
  19. Worth a try. Think I'll do just that & see what, if anything, happens.
  20. You should be able to show your HCP to the guy, pay your money & go your way. You've already passed a background check. "If" you have committed a crime that would disqualify you, it should have already been turned in to the State, and your permit revoked/suspended. Problem is many of the court clerks are not turning these records in. This is negligence on their part, not ours. HCP holders pay the price for their laziness. Until there is a major penalty for not doing this, it will continue. JMHO
  21. I was thinking the same thing. Like to know how much was donated overall on the 24th.
  22. NO, save your money. You'd gain more by sending it to me.
  23. Just sent mine in to the NRA ILA
  24. Amen. Just getting out in the woods is the best part.
  25. Yes, we had a good visit, talked a while, and I bought 500 pcs. 9mm once fired brass. Think we both got a good deal. If you happen to need any of the above brass, check Bersaguy out. Good guy to do business with. Besides, it'll keep him busy & off the streets, LOL.
