Looking to expand my collection into a new caliber. I've heard a lot about the .17hmr and I'd like to try it out. Not looking for anything in particular but definitely not a high-end or boutique gun. Looking for one to convert my xl. installed over the weekend. Not sure I like the size with the 17 round mag. It feels really good in the hand, but my conceal ability is somewhat hampered. The stock sig floor-plate tends to dig into my side, at least with the holster I have right now. Got another holster coming this week, and also a TacDev 17 round floor plate, so will wait and try that one. TacDev also makes an adapter floor plate so one can use 12 round mags in the macro. The macro changes a lot on this platform. Depending on how I shoot with it, and how it feels after I get used to wearing it, I could conceivably go back to the xl module.

Good morning all! I have found some time on my hands and have decided I would like to find a military surplus project to work on. I prefer something fully functional but am willing to consider offers honest about what it may need. I decided to try looking locally before searching online retailers. I'm not looking for anything too expensive. I am primarily interested in pre-1950 European but am willing to try something new. Looking to load up some light loads for some of my revolvers and lever guns for some kids in our church group to shoot. I've never used Trail Boss before, but see it recommended a lot for lighter loads. Hoping someone has a pound or two sitting on a shelf that they aren't attached to.

Greetings to all, Anyone have a faceplate with M39 x 4 thread pattern ( metric ) that you will/want to sell? I would not be averse to rent the faceplate for three weeks if one were available. Or maybe someone with a wood turning lathe would produce 12 ea 7” x 1 1/2” lamp bases for me. I would pay of course. The Model 44 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .44 Magnum manufactured by Sturm, Ruger & Co. It uses a 4-round tubular magazine and was produced from 1961 to 1985. Doesn't need to be a safe queen or a collector's model. I plan to shoot it. Let me know what you have and how much you are asking for it. Thanks.

My friend reached out to me interested in joining me for clays more often. He currently is using a 870, guess hes decided he doesn't enjoy that and wants to get something else. I personally love my montefeltro, but those have become quite pricey, he's looking to spending much less than that. Community have anything available, or have good recommendations to steer him to? Just looking for a better option over the standard mil-spec drop in handguard. Could be Magpul, could be some sort of railed option. I'm not real picky, just looking for something that will let me at a light and/or grip.
