I almost bought an XD 9sc when I was looking for a summer carry gun. I had a problem racking the slide while holding the grip safety and I immediately decided against it. Dunno, maybe it just didn't fit my hand right as I haven't heard of anyone else with this problem. I ended up with a Glock 26.

Ive had both Glock and now the XD45 4" barrel. Just got rid of my G36. The Glock was a very good shooting gun for its size. I like the way the XD feels and shoots.

I still like Glocks stuff though. I will be buying another in the near future.

and i was messing with him because they don't make a .45 in subcompact, i only wish they did

Actually it's an XD45C. Compact. They are great guns! I had one, sold it and bought a .40SW to carry instead just for sheer ergonomics sake though.

I have the XD45 service model as a CCW and wife hsa the XD45SC as hers.

No trouble at all from ours and we shoot alot of reloaded ammo that we reload on our Dillon 550B.

I should mention that I sold my XD-45, but I still have my XD-9 Service.

Well, I no longer have the XD-9 sub.

It was a car gun and after much recent consideration of its Glock-like qualities I decided to go with something more appropriate. I still have other handguns on my hip, but for car use, I decided another Kel-Tec P-3AT was a better way to go. Instead of keeping it in the side door pocket, the 380 can go in the little shelf under the radio in my Taurus, where it is more handy for someone like me who is so right-pawed.

So, the transition on this handgun has gone from a G26 to an XD-9 sub, to a P-3AT. I'll probably miss the XD on occasion. It's still a better choice if you want a Glock-like handgun.
