Hey all, I don't know if anyone will be interested in this, but what the hey. I went to the store earlier to pick up some Grizzly and saw a deal I could not pass up. The had some cans of Stoker's Wintergreen for 99 cents. They also had some large tubs for $9.99. I thought I'd give it a try, and it's not too bad. Here comes the deal though. Attached to the can was a coupon for $2 off the large tub. The tub contain 12 ozs, or 10 regular cans. So for $8.98 (.99+7.99) I got 13 cans of chew. It even says it is from Dresden, TN, so I'm helping out the local economy.

Just thought I'd pass it along.

I only saw wintergreen fine and long cut at my local store. Don't know if there are any others. It is not bad at all, but by long cut, they mean really long.

How does's it compare to Skoal Wintergreen finecut ? I've been buying Redseal because it's a lot cheaper but if it's close I would try it at that price

I don't know how the fine cut is, cause I don't use it. I did find out they have Natural too, but I hadn't heard about the cherry. I did find this Fred Stoker & Sons, Inc. unfourtunately they don't have any info online, but I did sign up for one of their catalogs.

I'm still waiting for marlboro to release theirs.. if nothing else for the can it comes in. You could kill someone with that thing, it's solid metal and weighs a ton if I remember from their tests.

They no longer use that type of packaging. They now use a thin foilpack. And it's spit-free.

I decided to quit after Nov 20th. I am still Skoal Free. Now I got this awful "Juicy Fruit" addiction. I am chewing it like a madman right now. I am not going to pay those taxes. The government is turning into the pusher-man.

The FDA is gonna ban that stuff!

*Just fearmongering, carry on.*

Actualy, you are kinda right.

Senate passes the most sweeping tobacco-control bill - USATODAY.com

• Within three months, candy- and fruit-flavored cigarettes are banned, and the FDA can extend that ban to cigars and moist snuff, where such flavorings are more common. Menthol is exempt.

Only applies to smokes right now, but they can apply it to smokeless if they so choose. Being how half the flavors out there are fruit flavors, I'd say you are pretty close.
