Hello all,

I just wanted to throw out a quick introduction. My name is Jay Powell, I just recently moved to the great state of Tennessee from Michigan. My wife and I love it here and have no intention of leaving anytime in the near future.

I enjoy hunting, fishing, shooting and the great outdoors. I will be lookingn for some good areas to hunt in the 2010 season, so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

I am also looking for the local ranges to do some shooting. Hopefully there are a few ranges that will allow shooting out past 100 yards.

I am looking forward to gaining some knowledge about hunting and shooting in Tennessee.

Welcome Jay. If you're looking for indoor ranges, Guns and Leather in Greenbrier (2216 Highway 41 South) and On Target in Murfreesboro (915 North Thompson Lane) are both good bets from Lebanon. The closest decent outdoor range that I know of is Owl Hollow (couldn't find address, but directions are in this thread: directions to Owl Hollow). Hopefully we'll see you out and about.

Welcome Jay, from Gainesboro...this is the RIGHT place to be!!! My older brother lives in Ypsilanti, Michigan...I wish he would follow your lead, and move back to Tennessee. :eek:
