Ditto that, and from the rides I took in those they are bumpy and loud as heck.....

That has to be a C17, none of the 130's or 141's I jumped out of were that well lit or had that much room!! We had to interlace our knees and lay our rucks on top of each other!

My preferred jump was the C5 as you hung around upstairs in the passenger compartment then did load out and pre-jump downstairs on the football field!

Oh, and since we are in the jumping mode, anyone else have an exit from a C47 Gooney Bird? That was an excellent jump. Got to do that with the Honduran Jump School way back in 89. You fall forward and push down if you can, so as not to whack the tail or catch the rear landing wheel. Very interesting exit!

Back to your normally scheduled can O whoop arse.

My dad was in the Air force in Korea. Dropped a lot of guys out of c46's and c47's. He also spent a lot of time in C119's, but I think that was stateside. Dropped a jeep in the river one day :)
