I don't care if the guy was riding a bicycle with a seat shaped like a penis jammed all the way up his rear, he does not deserve our derision and derogatory jokes. He deserves our support. The fact of the matter is that he and others like him (otherwise liberal leaning folks who desire the means to protect themselves) are our friends on 2A issues. That the man resides in our nation's capitol makes it even more important that he has support from the 2A community as we all know how gun unfriendly DC is. We, as 2A supporters, should be courting folks in the LGBT community and other traditionally liberal groups as they have access to and the ears of politicians whom we normally wouldn't.

I don't care who you are or what you do, if you desire the access and ability to have a firearm to legally protect yourself from the illegal actions of another, I stand with you in that. I don't care if it is some thug trying to steal from you or some asshat trying to assault you because you are gay, if you want to carry a gun and have the ability to put them down like a rabid dog, I'm behind that.
