$49.95 for a G27 magazine ??????

Recommended Posts

i just went to a gun shop in Nashville , not gonna name which , to get a simple G27 mag . These things are usually $25 all day long . I went to this place to give it a shot and WOW!!!! They wanted $49.95 for a Glock 27 magazine !

I am sure a gun owner like myself would never pay that much , but dang ! How do places like this stay in business ? I try to shop local mom and pop places but this is crazy .

Actually, I think you should say where you were quoted this price. No one wants to overpay for anything these days. A fair profit is one thing, gouging is something else. If you're not adverse to it, how about a pm telling me who?

You know, I sure hope when the Nashville Armory opens up they do a few things.

A. Join up here as vendors supporting the forum.

B. Read the posts and take a lesson on how NOT to run their business.

C. Bring the local market down to a reasonable level.

I think the only reason gun shops even try to get away with their prices is because the local market has already shown they will abide them.

Thank goodness there are still a few willing to compete with internet pricing.

In the meantime, try G&L or D&T. From what I hear they will make you a happy camper.

it has got the the point that i buy 95% of my guns, ammo, reloading stuff from the net. i was a big supporter of my local gun shops,,,,,, but when they started charging "way to high" for things i stopped. even with the haz mat fee and shipping i still come in lower than my gun shops. i also like to find good used deals on the forums. i know they got to make money,,,but it works both ways.
