where can i g\buy some of the Bx25 magazines?

I see them in almost every gun shop I frequent. I picked up 2 at the gun show, last week, for $24 each. They usually run $25-$29

Outlaw ....

First = Absolutely sweet. I had the takedown version but never got around to using it. Might have to pick one of these up.

Secondly = Minding taking some closeups of the threaded barrel? I'd be very interested! Thanks!

Lastly - I didn't see any bx25 mags at my local academy when I was in the market for them. I'm pretty they have red dots though = albeit, a bit on the expensive side.

If you tweak it any, add a Volquartsen extractor. Cheap upgrade that will likely prevent probs in the future; factory extractor is marginal, and probably half of them will go wonky over time. Extraction probs are 90% of all probs with the 10/22, masquerade as all kinds of FTF, stovepipe, etc.

Cheapest trigger upgrade is probably still Volquartsen target hammer kit. Not full blown best trigger you can get but improves it by 100% for about $35, pretty easy to install.

No worries Outlaw. If you get around to it is all :)

Is that a flash hider on the end? I assume that is unscrewed & a suppressor is screwed on? I'm a bit of a newb when it comes to Sup's :)

I recently bought my first 10/22. I have added:

Volquartsen extractor

Volquartsen auto bolt release

Volquartsen target hammer kit

ATI folding stock

off brand vertical front grip/ bipod combo

Tasco 3-9 scope

I also polished the bolt and inside the receiver

After all this I ran a 525 Federal bulk box thru it and recleaned it. I then shot it over a few weeks without cleaning to test reliability. It starting giving me trouble after 3,500 rounds. I called it successful and went back to cleaning after every range session.

I got a good deal on a couple of BX-25's from a vendor on here. Joe Bob's Outfitters. They have a code you can find in their vendor section that will save you a bit more. I don't remember what I paid exactly, but it was less than $50 for two, including shipping costs.
