Cowboy Action in Oak Ridge question

Recommended Posts

I have had the guns to shoot CAS for several years now. Mostly safe queens since I bought em and then couldn't get off work enough to go play. I was cleaning out the safe and got to fondling them. I'm thinking I might shoot SASS this weekend but I got a problem.......my cowboy rig has shrank! OK it hasn't I have expanded :D If I can't find a leather belt by Saturday do you think I would be looked down on if I wore my 6 shooters on a wilderness tactical nylon belt till I get a replacement for my Kirkpatrick?

The first time I shot with them the only thing I had was a hat, no guns.Cowboys loaned me everything. Let me know what you need, size type guns and i will post it on the Smoky Mt. forum. I have only shot with these guys & gals for a few months, but most have several rigs and lots of guns.

Next match in Oak Ridge will be Oct. 13. We meet second Saturday each month. Time is 8:30 am. Usually lasts till 1 or 2.

They do the target setup on Sunday before Oct 7 next month. meet 1:30. They will do an ordination for you at that time if you have never shot of been to one before. Just let them. Here is their web site http://www.smssgazette.com/index.htm

I appreciate the information. I happen to be off that day, and as long as I don't have to go to a little league football game that day I am going to try to be there, but only as a spectator. I've been wanting to watch a match for a few years now before I take the plunge and acquire all the necessary gear.
