I was on a cleaning kick last night and decided since I had them out... why not snap a quick picture. It's by no means a super impressive collection, but I'm certainly happy about my setup. Though It would look a lot better with a shotgun laying there as well.....

It certainly didn't look that nice when I got it. As you can imagine, it was a giant blob of cosmoline, the wood was just a few shades shy of black. I sat on floor with a drop cloth and hand sanded it for a couple days to return it to natural wood then hit it with couple coats of lacquer. I also had a few spots where the bluing didn't look that great so I touched that up as well. I've read that some people frown up that, I guess because it removes the historical look. But, it was my first rifle and I wanted it to look nice. Every time I take it out to Stones Creek it never fails that I have someone come up and comment on how nice it looks, so I'm proud of the work.

It looks like fitting that AR in the case, and getting it to snap shut, might be a bit of a challenge. Do you have to remove the EOTech? I presume that's what it is

From the picture you wouldn't believe it, but if you sit the rifle in at an angle it fits nicely. Snug.. but no rubbing.

Sweet!  What is next?  My view looks like you need a tactical shotgun, and a 1911 style next.

Shhhh! Keep that "next" word quiet so my wife doesn't hear. I've blown my gun budget for awhile.

I've got my eye on a Mossberg M590A1 with a set of ghost rings, however, I'm open to suggestion because I'm really not versed in shotguns.

I would really like to get a Remington 700 PSS as well.

A 1911 would also be a nice addition!
Real nice family of firearms you got there.   I have an early Mossy 590 and love it. The ghostring sight was the part that did it for me.
Its strange, I can see a perfectly good shotgun and pass it by but add ghost rings and its suddenly awesome. Maybe im just overly tacticool or something. I cant help what I like though. :)

That's pretty, though I think I'm going to stay under the 1k mark with a shotgun.

I feel your pain. It's hard to consider that much for a shotgun, but I'm going to see how long the wait is for one. If I think I'll still be alive then I may order one.
