Hey guys,

I'm thinking about buying a 1982 Winchester 94 30-30 from a guy for my son but I don't won't to pay to much. What would be a good price or price range for one that is in good to excellent condition? Thanks.

walmart has them for sale.  i seen some in several north ga walmarts.   i do not remember the prices but i think they were around $350.

I don't think so. The only new production 94 Winchester is a high grade gun made by Miruku in Japan, and is around the thousand dollar mark.

If youre exploring lever gun options. You might want to consider scope mounting options. Marlins are slightly easier since they are side eject vs Winchester and most Rossi.

After a certain date, I'm not sure what it was but the are marked accordingly, the 94's were angle eject, and allow for a top mounted scope. That being said, a scope on a 94 is akin to a screen door on a submarine to me. A good receiver sight might be in order, but not a scope.
