Hello from a distant neighbor

I live in Oregon, a few miles away but quite close on the internet. I am primarily a high power competitor with the clock ticking towards me being 68 in June. Small bore in the winter and I think I have enough .22 ammo for a couple of years.

I'm thinking of retiring in Spokane, Wa. I like winters. 'Specially when I'm retired and don't have to get up and go out to work.

I live in Albany, which is about 60 miles south of Portland, on I5. I am going to shoot for two days in Puyallup, WA at Paul Bunyan rifle range this week end.

Why anyone would leave the warm weather of TN for snow i cant understand. Spokane is a very nice town, though

Seattle and Tacoma have way too much annual rainfall for me. Portland does get snow, but in Albany, that is a rare occurrence. Washington has some nice rifle and pistol ranges, though.
