Would It be considered being Paranoid....

Dangit, now I'm becoming paranoid that I may not be paranoid.

Yep, every time I come on this site, I leave with the feeling that I need more guns and I am not ready enough.

I'm thinking about getting a 6" 1911 in 10mm for the truck just in case I need some extra firepower but you guys are making me think that I need more:-)

Do any of you have a secure way to lock your truck guns? I was thinking about installing a heavy duty handgun safe in my center console since there is room. Edited by Romad7

I think carrying two firearms is prudent...on on your person and (I suggest) a duplicate (for same ammo/mag purposes) in the vehicle as getting to your holstered handgun can be problematic when in your vehicle, seat-belt on, etc. so having an interchangeable weapon on the passenger seat or somewhere else very handy is a good thing.

I've thought about carrying something like an FS2000 in my vehicle but haven't so far - I think I'd have to really feel I needed it before I'd carry a long gun which begs the question of if I feel I really need to have a long gun with me why am i ever going out/to that destination? ;)  I also, frankly, would be much more worried about someone breaking into my vehicle and steeling it...losing a $500 Glock is bad enough; losing a $2,500 rifle is quite another (not that losing any firearm isn't bad)!

Most times it is a LC9 with an extra mag in car, 40 M&P 40c with extra mag on me.  Always have one or the other with me, IWB concealed though.
