Any Wal-Mart employees in the house?

Recommended Posts

I'm a former employee. I'm not telling you to not buy a TV from Walmart, TDR, but I used to unload trucks sometimes. I have seen pallets of dog food placed on top of TVs.

I can't speak for the accuracy of the salesman's statement, but Walmart management does tend to keep employees out of the loop in terms of details, so I'd ask the electronics supervisor or an assistant manager.

It's one that I plan to sell in a private sale. Didn't mean to make it appear as though there are 42" vizios nib for $250 at a retail store! Sorry!

Next time, just IM instead of posting it out for the world to see. I used to work at Wal-mart, Unloading trucks. And the pallets of dog food placed on TVs is no exaggeration. Seen my share of the stupid things from the DC's and made me want to go tell those who load the trucks that they are a bunch of overpaid idiots.

While browsing for a TV at my local Wally World, the associate told me that if I found a TV today that was going to be part of the Black Friday sale and put it on layaway, Wal-Mart would give me the Black Friday price if I picked it up after Black Friday. Does anyone know this to be accurate?

I have wondered the exact same thing myself. If you find out let me know.
