Flu

I am been fighting a nasty flu virus all week.

High fever, joint pain, horrible nasal drainage, coughing, and generally feeling like crap.

I am going stir crazy.

Started Monday night. Went to the clinic Tuesday morning had 102 degree fever. Got all sorts of good meds.

The nurse practioneer said that a lot of people are down 10 to 15 days with it. Tamiflu seems to have helps some.

Hopefully will be able to go back to work Monday.

It was bad this year, hit me like a bus a couple weeks back.

I know they say this strain is not in the shot but all the folks I know that got the shot didn't get this strain so the shot does help anyway...........IMO

It's true that this year didn't cover the late strain that came out: however, having the shot lessened the affects of the late strain to extremely mild. My granddaughter caught it after getting the shot and all she really had was a fever and congestion for about 24 hours.
