Three Short Swords - With Authentic Battle Damage

Recommended Posts

The one in the middle will just kill you with cuteness..... :) Good job on the swords. A few years ago my son was all about the original Land of the Lost. I ended up making him one of the sleestak crossbows.

Crossbow is a great idea. We make bows and arrows, slingshots and fake guns. My favorite is a PVC bazooka.
Crossbow is now on the list.

Hey, I did a short bow out of PVC once. I split a lemgth of half inch and drove it into a length of 3/4". It was NO TOY! PVC can make a dang fine bow or crossbow.

Yes, your correct a PVC bow or crossbow can be powerful, you just have to choose the correct diameter for the application. You can make them stout or far less powerful. Even better you can tip a shaft with a round ball to reduce throw distance or possible impalement.
