Clock Boy’ Ahmed Homesick in Qatar, Wants to Come Back to Texas

 

Within days of demanding a total of $15 million from the City of Irving and the Irving Independent School District, “Clock Boy” Ahmed Mohamed announced in a long distance phone interview from Qatar, he is homesick and wants to come home to Texas now.

In October, Ahmed accepted a fully-funded education scholarship from the Qatar Foundation, an organization with reputed ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, over an invitation to MIT, which is among the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in the world. The family announced they would relocate to Qatar to accommodate his education, which they did.

Everybody but liberal politicians and mainstream media's already pinged on the fact the entire clock incident was staged. I like the fifteen million dollars demand and written letters of apology to. Karma...it has an intresting way of manifesting itself.

He comes across as a wierd kid.  I suspect his intention was to make a clock that looked like a bomb, so he cold then claim that he had been treated poorly.  MIT should be smacked for inviting him to come there.  Of course, Obama had him to the White House...

I bet the Governor is not going to let him back in Texas. He has probably been well trained in IED building now and wants to come home to blow something up. Let him go live in DC if he wants to come back home. Some place close to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. would be nice............jmho

I suspect that was his father's intention.

From one source I read, one reason he was suspended was because he couldn't even explain what the device was.
