Who has a VP9?

It was the first brand new handgun I ever bought and I love it.

Adjustable back straps and palm swells and a high beavertail gets you right on the bore axis.

The trigger is amazing, people whine about it but the painted on night sights are great. And it is a tack driver.

I am a Glock guy but I can outshoot all my Glocks (which all have trigger work) with it.

Only gripes is 15rd mags...not really a problem to me, but some dont like that

Get one, wont regret it

I love the one that Michael Dresner @ Law Enforcement Sales hooked me up with.  Hands down one of my most favorite handguns.  In fact, my wife liked it so much that we went and bought a new one for her as well and sold a few of our Smith & Wesson M&Ps to make room for the new platform.

Enjoy yours!

I got one last month.  It's a great gun, the feel in your hand and trigger are as described.  If I have one 'downside' it's that the weight seems a bit off.  It just feels light up top, despite having polymer below the slide.  I'll admit that might just be me being too used to my Walther P99, but the weight difference is noticeable, and I really like that extra weight on top.

I wont touch one! Same for the P30!      My sister got me an airsoft P30 for a gag gift Christmas 2014......if the real guns feel half as good in my hand and that toy I'd have to dump everything I've got and go alll total to HK LOL

Great gun, but not great for left handers - the slide release on the leftie side interferes with a proper grip preventing the slide from staying open after the last shot.

Another leftie and I were joking that HK must not have any left hand employees or they would shorten the slide release.

I'm left handed and it doesn't bother me. The one on the left side is fairly short. Does your index finger catch it?

I just picked up a slightly used VP9 and assembled the grip to fit my hand last night. The trigger is sweet dry firing dummy rounds.

I plan on shooting it sometime today. If the VP9 is as accurate as others say, I may be getting rid of my M&P 9 full size with apex duty kit.

Shot the VP9 this morning. Excellent accuracy, trigger as good as everyone says and spent casing ejected in one area. The luminous sights were great outside. I've already ordered a spare mag form Midway, $37.99 + shipping. My Mitch Rosen Premier HK 45 OWB holster fits VP9 like a glove. Wish I knew how to post pic from cell phone of target.

Looks like my M&P 9 full size will go soon.

So, when I hold the gun, my thumbs are on the right side of the gun.  The slide release on the right side is long enough so that my thumbs interfere with it.

I dealt with it by selling the gun.  My friend dealt with it by purchasing a slide release, shortening it and putting it back on.

I loved the gun.  Wish it had occurred to me to do what my friend did.

Im right handed and hold it so high my thumb engages the slide release so it wont lock back either. I just ignore it since it isnt in the carry rotation anymore
