CZ scorpion EVO 3

Recommended Posts

I looked at them long enough. I pulled the trigger on one last weekend. I'm going to try and shoot it tomorrow and I'm already looking into after market triggers and springs along with a new charging handle. The 5 30 round mags get here Friday. b029ad4410fd77cc8c0219eafc83c0a4.jpg75c13ae349cedc351d3f46bb7d0c105c.jpg

Love the carbine! I have the pistol version working toward the SBR status for it. Have my 922r kit and lots of mags for it.

That new charging handle looks great. Not familiar with the trigger, but will check it out. Always like to see what other have done to theirs.

And yes, welcome to Club CZ. Now get a couple of 75s and a Rami to round the collection out.

I got my evo carbine a few weeks ago, ran two mags through it and put it away until I could get the parts and fix the safety. Finally got the ambi-delete and the 10 mags I ordered. Hopefully the next range trip will be quite different. Love seeing the upgrades installed OP.

I thought about adding the AK safety on mine. I don't mind the stock safety.

Thank you for the welcome, I've wanted a 75 for years now. I am going to pick up a P-07 from a friend in a couple weeks. The charging handle made a Yuuge difference! The spring kit and trigger dropped the pull to about 5-5.5 pounds, much better than stock.

I think it depends on the shooter's grip preference and hand sizing. For the wife she didn't seem to notice it, I couldn't stand it. That said, cz's willingness to sell a simple 5 min factory fix made it essentially a non issue.

I guess I'm a snob. I didn't like the feel of the P-07. lol Just prefer the 75/85 models.  As much as I like poly and striker fired pistols...I just can't believe how well I can shoot the CZ. Somehow I ended up with 2 75s. Each shoot great but have a slightly different feel and character. I contemplate selling one, then realize I really can't replace either.

I use it and own3 different safeties. Of the Manticore and HB, this one is my favorite.

Good comments. I have seen and tried the AK style at the NRA Convention while at the CZ booth, and was shown some other AM parts and features there. But it was such a crowded booth I really don't remember much of it.

I will be looking at several replacement parts for my Scorpion, some for durability concerns, but the stock safety must go. It just aggravates me rubbing my fingers while shooting.

I want a 75 but he is selling me the P-07 for 250.00, hard to pass up I think.

Ok, let's get this back on track. I got the chance to shoot a Carbine version yesterday. It was fantastic! I can't say enough good about it.

Like yours, this one also had the trigger replaced and the extended charging handle. Makes quite a nice difference in handling the rifle.

It shot great. Was terrifically accurate. Of course the 1000 buck optic system on it might have helped me with it. lol

The one I shot had the welded faux suppressor on it, so I got a good feel for what it would be like finished out. It really has me thinking about not going the SBR route, and just getting a carbine instead. Overall, I can't really see much difference if I did that.

And what's worse...I got to run a mag thru a Bren as well. The less said here the better. I LOVED IT! Plain and simple.
