  3. Thanks. We may be out there this summer. I'm trying to find a used one in middle TN. I've got cash burning a hole in my pocket.
  4. Today
  5. That would be in the early 60's. My dad had a 61 Chevy and I see 2 in that pic. Long time ago.
  6. "in the Lord's caliber." Very appropriate, ha.
  7. Summary Upgrade to May 2025 forum software release. Explanation Invision Community 4.7.21 Released 05/27/2025 Key Changes This is our May maintenance release. 4.7.21 - Release Notes The Road to Version 5 I am still waiting on updates to a few of the add-ons that we use on TGO so that we can begin moving to the new Version 5 release of our forum software. Most important of these is the Trader Feedback system used by our members to provide eBay style feedback on their buying/selling experiences with one another. As soon as that software is ready for v5, I will begin working on the upgrade.
  8. Too bad these persons that are in charge of schools and other activities where large groups of people are gathered do not realize how true Tim Larkin's statement is. When someone intent on thrusting violence on any subjects, only like kind of violence will stop them. May I say that someone who is there to stops that hater must be on site to stop the perpetrator of the crime "immediately." The police are minutes away and someone can do a lot of damage in those few minutes as we all know. I wish they would arm teachers that volunteer and are "well" trained. My daughters went to school with a x -Marine who carried at school every day he was there. He was the vice principal, and the principal knew he carried. The principal was a veteran also. They were a team to protect our kids. Now they would remove and prosecute a teacher that did that. Just my opinions guys. Those two veterans are long retired now. I am glad to see Nashville installed the bumper guards along the sidewalks in lower broad street to keep someone from driving down the sidewalk and mowing down visitors to that city. Hope they are well thought out and effective. At least seems to me they are trying to combat what has happened in other cities like New Orleans recently. The Govenor passed a bill allowing teachers to carry but communities in TN will not allow teachers to carry. Several states have and their schools have been safe so far. I know nothing is fool proof but there is a deterrent effect that would go along with knowing teachers and other armed security was present and on site. Well just my morning rant guys. Edited to add; Tim has a series of 3 books on this subject. I have all three coming. Got one yesterday.
  9. My best WAG, a dove shot.
  10. That was the first "grown-up" book series I read as a teenager. I mowed a lot of yards to buy the full size plume editions with the full-color illustrations.
  11. Buds in Sevierville had some last time I was there.

    Tumor

Good check up today. The hole in my head is still there. See the doctor again in 3 months. It was a great day to be with family. Made 8 stops and bought little. Visited with sister-in-law at their retirement center during 5 pm rush hour. The store was out of knot bread so I put $117 worth of food back in coolers.
