  3. The title says it like it is, and I am not looking for something that is eye candy. I want one that has been used please, and from someone who can verify it’s a good shooter. I’m looking for stock.

  5. Pics will be added later. Slow at work rn. I drive through Knox every Saturday around Noon. I live in Tullahoma closer to Manchester. Can meet at I24 and regularly go to Murfreesboro for work. But at 7am! If you want to meet for live fire I can meet you at Terry Walden outdoor range. A few miles NW of Manchester. US 41 and I24 exit. You pay your own 15 bucks admission though. WILL SHIP to your FFL, your expense. All regular money sending methods accepted. Venmo, Chime, discreet PP, cash app. Zelle etc. I'm pretty verbose but if you have questions 480 612 3085 text me. Garbage .22 short revolver. 20 bucks. This poo nugget is what you take to a buyback when they have a 400 dollar gift card for any working gun. It works but barely. Free with any other purchase. Glock 42. .380. 2 mags, Siderlock safety trigger. Lightened striker, clipdraw, extended slide stop. Will revert to stock if you like. Pinkie rest on one mag, +3 bottom on the other. Bought from Larry's in H'ville and fired maybe 50 times. Spare ghost connector, stock sights. Light burnish on right side of slide. Want a spare box of .380? You got it. S&B ball. $440.00 Taurus 66 .357 revolver. 6" back when I was an FFL I got this for 117 bucks as a "gunsmith special" from Century. When I got it, it was ORANGE. From rust. Bore was nice. So I freed everything up, sent it to Taurus who put all new springs and ejector, ran 54 rounds of full house .357 and 48 rounds of .38 through it. I have not shot it 54 times since! Has pitting on it. Been refinished in satin black gunkote over manganese parkerizing. A finish I was famous (kinda) for. A very HK esque satin black. Grips were junk and Taurus warranty doesn't cover finish, grips or sights. So I put some 90s grips on it, the rounded ones. The rear sight was an obsolete type so I put a S&W K-frame rear on after drilling and tapping to make it fit. This is a "hoss". A great gun for your truck, tacklebox, tractor etc...fill with snake shot, or a great beginner wheel gun that needn't worry about getting wet. You'd really have to work to get it to rust. Bore is beautiful. Want 100rds of reload .357 to go with it? You got it. My hunting friend "Vietnam Eddy" made these for me 5 years ago. I shot some and they are magnums but not overcharged. 158gr Rem SJHP. 1986 production pistol. $300.00 Taurus 689 vent rib stainless vent rib .357 6" bbl. 1994 gun. A few handling marks and pimptastic grips! Bought from some dork on Armslist years ago. Sent him money as soon as he gave me a UPS tracking number. Shot it maybe 60 times. If that. Have taken it afield hunting a few times. $440.00 THIS IS A POST IN PROGRESS. PICS and about a dozen more guns to be added later. 5 Stoeger STR9s of various flavors. Tisas 1911 semi custom Ruger p90 DC semi custom Star Megastar 45 Star 28/30/31s in 9 and 40

  7. Quite honestly, you would be much better off just buying guns in the configuration you want. Gunsmithing is expensive and the guns will never sell for anything close to what you have in it. Once modified from original, S&Ws value drops considerably. You'd just be wasting your money. Granted, 3" K-frames are hard to come by and expensive, but they are out there.
  8. Willing to seperate if someone is interested in the scope or rifle alone.
  9. Boxes show 1 oz loads. 410 2 1/2" takes a half oz load; That would give me 50 of the #7 1/2 and 50 #8. 100/plus powder reloads. 50 209 primers to reuse, $15.99 per pack at Sportsman's Warehouse. Add them with the LP primers, see you Tuesday. The MRI time is 2 pm Doctor visit shows 3:30 pm. Hope to be at our meeting place about that time if I can get ahead of others.
  10. Glad to be here among you. 30 years of Palma at a click, IHMSA comp, and 30 years of casting my own for 45-70, 44, 35, 30 cal. The amount of lead ingots from scrap lead in my garage has no doubt altered Earth's wobble a fraction. But hey, WTH, we do what we have to do to affect global warming & pollution. I am comforted knowing that I used clean natural gas to smelt down that lead & debris, getting evil lead out of the dirt. Yeah. Me get lead poisoning from the rising smoke? "Pffffft". I have so much powdered DDT I slept on in my past . .mosquitos die when they fly by me. I'm retired, hiding in Hixson.

    Tumor

I didn't have the numbness until I started taking the drugs. If I do very little they are numb. If I do a lot with hands they feel like hitting the funny bone. They aren't white with poor blood flow. Rained a lot yesterday so I stayed busy and got them tingling pretty good. Had a hard time getting to sleep. (Check the 410 reloading thread today's entry.)

  15. A WWII Walther P38 used post war by the East German police. No import markings. The slide is ac 41 indicating it was made by Walther in Zella Mehlis. It is forced matched to the frame by the East German police. The frame was also made by Walther and both have the Walther inspection code Eagle over 359. $750 or best offer cash
  16. I found out why. To qualify as an exemption from NICS, the ATF, and this could be challenged under SCOTUS decision on Chevron Deferrence, has dictated that the issued permit, among other things... Require a NICS check before issuance. Not be valid for more than 5 years. It's my understanding that TNs permits are 8 years. AL and MI just had their permits added as exemptions from NICS.
  17. No update on the order of pilots so I canceled it. Took the .452 pilot to the drill press and sanded it down to slide into a brass 410 shell. Got 88 of 100 casings trimmed. Some are cracked and will be trimmed shorter. Some heads wouldn't seat in the collet, guess to big. Some necked had to be expanded a bit to fit the pilot. I used the hand crank instead of the drill. Fingers were tingling when finished. Guess that's from the chemo drug. 3 more days to finish them.
  18. I'm so sorry I did not get a notification for this post or missed it. I drive through Knoxville every Saturday about Noon. Text me 480 612 3085 and maybe we can set something up.
