  1. FYI PayPal tried to debit the bank account and it was declined. Said they will try again in three days. Guess I'll just call the bank.
  2. Probably what I'll do ^^^^ I ordered a 110 or whatever from Atlas. I guess I'll settle for the 74, but haven't seen them yet. I've got an email alert set up.
  3. No hard feelings from me either. Still trying to decide whether to hold out some hope or go ahead try to get the funds back.
  4. FYI website is no longer active. I think I may have reached my breaking point on these. I'll likely cancel Monday unless I have a change of heart.
  5. Interested and tentatively in pending details on specifics.
  6. Well....if there is still pressure on the low or high side, then it might be exciting for a moment or two.
  7. Don't buy it piece by piece if you do a PSA. It took 8 months to get all of the needed parts. Funds were not the issue. However, I was able to build an 18" PA10 with magpul furniture with a 13" keymod rail for $816 including shipping. Not too shabby. Paired with 1000 rounds of $7.00 a box perfecta ammo and it was a cheaper investment than my first ar15 and 1000 rounds of ammo
  8. ^^^wondering the same thing. I've never been to something like this, so really no idea what to expect for a reasonable day of fun.
  9. I think you made the right choice buying instead of building. I picked up a PSA keymod upper for a good deal in Nov. It took until Feb to get the lower. Here we are in July and I still haven't found the bcg. I'm signed up for the email notification, but they sell out by the time I get one in my cart and paid. Ready to take my chances with another dpms style bcg.
  10. I purchased a Kimber Solo from a member on here. It was supposedly unfired(or almost new), but had already changed hands before I got it. I couldn't see any indications of use other than the normal wear from slide action. First time i shot it, it didn't feed the second round. I put it up and decided the ammo I had was the issue. The next time I tried more rounds of different varieties. Same problem, but worse. It wouldn't feed anything more than once or twice. Called Kimber and quickly realized the slide stop had not engaged a tiny spring that needs to be caught upon installation. Now there doesn't seem to be an issue and it feeds anything I've put in it. I still wonder who and when the slide was installed incorrectly. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that both previous owners had the issue. I'm glad that I picked up a cheap Solo, but even more glad that I tested before carrying.
  11. I've really liked my leatherman Ti Wave. I think I've had it since 03. It has been thoroughly abused in many different arenas. Used for automotive, home, and outdoors purposes. It even disappeared for two years in the bottom of a bike pack. It was corroded beyond belief with two years of sweat and water. I ride ALOT, and forgot it was in there because it fell out of my emergency kit and was wedged underneath the pack cover. It cleaned up very nicely and I still use it multiple times a week and often for uses it was not intended. My two pieces of advice: 1. Get one where every tool locks open in some way 2. Get one with the blades accessible when the tool is closed.
  12. Yep, sorry, should have been more clear. Not sure any number is special to me other than 710. Assume that's too high, so whatever.
  13. Thank you. I ordered the 115. Hopefully the threshold is met.
  14. Guns n more was pretty reasonable. I think it was $25 including tics but maybe wrong. I have done 6 transfers with them, but 5 were at one time.
  15. First I've seen of the atlas. Very interesting, as I've been considering a yeti or rtic. We currently use one of the Coleman extremes and it performs awesome, even compared with these higher end coolers. There was a kitchen supply company that did a YouTube comparison and the Coleman did really well.
  16. You can rest assured that I am indeed kicking myself. If anyone is tight on funds and needs to move it along, I'm your guy.
  17. I need to send 4 or 5 your direction. When I get home, I'll get started on a rotation. Also need a new clip for my Microtech kestrel.
  18. I've got a ton as well. I have a Solo DC in 9mm, but nothing else.  The solo won't hardly feed it, but it's only 115 and the solo wants 124 and up.  Curious as to how this ends up and others experience with the ammo.  I had thought about finding another 9mm range toy to eat up all this ammo.   Good to hear the .308 has been solid, hope the .223 is the same.
  19. You guys better hurry up. This thing is the real deal. I'm having a hard time resisting the urge to hack away at something. It's one serious hunk of steel.
  20. And I'm kind of excited. I'm taking my 5 yo daughter on her first backpacking trip and going to rely on this for general use. Two days of backpacking and three days of primitive car camping should put this to a fine test.
  21. Very interested in the 5050. Not sure if I can hold off until the end of the month....I have a trip on the 20th that I think I would want it I'll let you know if I can keep from ordering it before your order.
  22. Wish I had seen this deal when posted originally. Good deal!
