1. Wow, new trailer looks great!!
2. Holy crap - BB8 droid is not CGI.  Couldn't hardly believe it when it rolled out on stage.
3. https://youtu.be/4UY64GfyovE   Celebration Live Stream in 30 minutes.
4. Volk is doing it correctly with a shortened receiver, mp5 mags, etc. They are doing a glock mag well version as well along with a conversion kit for existing M85/M92 PAP pistols.
5. Got wind of another builder trying to make a 9mm production gun outside of Atlantic's operation.  Pics on their FB page look like they have the right idea. Volk Armament: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100007187412291&hc_location=ufi
6. The minute they(Atlantic) started spewing all of the crap about all of the custom work that had to be put in to engineer this AK I knew it was going to be a turd.  The Russians have been utilizing pistol caliber AK's for a LONG time and they didn't have to do any of that crap.  Since it is blowback all you really need is proper profile 9mm barrel and the ability to rig up a mag adapter.  I've seen several people/hobbyists do this in their garages with just the regular AK building tools.
7. It will be a nice one but I'm afraid it will be too rich for my blood.  The Colt stick mags and a few other differences kinda kills the aesthetics for me too.  I'm sure it will run like a top though being a Definitive Arms product.
8. I predict the finale will be the death of Pete and the battle with the DC Scavengers/Wolves which will set up a very nice series of cliffhangers for the next season.
9. Same here!  Normally not a fan of the zombie stuff but this turned out really good!
10. If you relegate the channel to ONLY doing local stuff you will have a channel with very little content that is only watched by the likes of us.  If you have a channel with a ton of content that appeals to the masses then the sky is the limit.  Especially when you start diving into the different generations/versions of certain firearms and mods that can be done to them.  The amount of knowledge, experience, and personally owned/used products in our user base is staggering.  Most successful channels have only newer firearms/gear being pushed to them by a handful of sponsors.  I feel like our channel has the opportunity to really go much further beyond that since we aren't beholden to any sort of contract with a vendor, etc and have a much more wide pool of resources at our disposal.
11. Also, there is something to be said for having a one-stop-shop channel for the large potential product reviews that our user base could provide.  Even the large channels that are being fed products by the large distributors or importers can't cover everything or a large enough product base.  Definitely think there should be a standardized format ironed out/communicated to the users and all videos reviewed for quality and content before being uploaded to the channel.
12. No receivers nor barrels yet that I know of.  Also the kits are only in "good" condition with some pretty substantial wear according to the ad.  It looks cool but also the Cetme "L" had more than its fair share of problems while it was being issued.  Unless you're a Cetme collector I'd pass on this lot.  Just my two cents tho.
13. Last year after the birth of my son I decided that I was not happy with the way I felt and looked as a result of putting on weight over the course of nearly 10 years.  So I decided I was going to get serious about losing weight correctly.  I refuse to "diet" but am passionate about portion control and cooking nearly all meals at home.  I have "worked out" before with trainers, etc. but it just never took.  I decided that after a bit of research that I just needed to focus on cardio to drop the extra pounds to the point where I could include some arm and ab workouts a bit more easily.  Well after a year I had my final weigh-in yesterday and I've lost 30 pounds and 2 pant sizes; from a 42 to 38.  I think I will continue this resolution for next year and see if I can't get another 30 pounds to go away and maybe hit a size 36.
14. Thanks for the review.  I have passed this place many times since they opened but always had somewhere to be and couldn't stop in.  Good to know they have a very reasonable transfer fee as well!
15. Buds website is completely down at this moment - lol.
16. Just saw on their FB that they have a CZ P07 with what looks like a threaded barrel for $349! https://www.facebook.com/budsgunshop?fref=photo
17.   Yeah, the early-mid 90's were really the golden age of AK's in my opinion; crime bill not-withstanding.  Could be Egyptian, Romanian, Chinese, Hungarian, Yugoslavian,  or Bulgarian.  Any of these would have been found at gun shows/shops with thumbhole stocks during that time period.  The bulgarians would have typically had the black synthetic stocks and handguards while the romanians had the skelotonized stocks similar to what the PSL uses.  Egyptian will be brown/honey-brown laminate w/ metal butt plate and trap door for cleaning kit.  Chinese will be orange-ish wood and I think most had a rubber butt pad if it was Norinco; other options if Polytec.  Hungarians usually used a blonde wood that always felt very smooth like it was sanded very well.  Yugo's were sort of all over the place and came in several different options on the stock; could be black synthetic or wood that ranged from blonde to brown in color.
18. '96 could be any number of variants sporting a thumbhole.  What color/finish was the wood?  Brownish?  Blonde?  Synthetic?  Orange-ish?
19. True enough I suppose.  Was just thinking it would be easier in regards to handing them down to my children later on if the guns were transferred to the trust and the kids were on the trust as beneficiaries.  What happens to your C&R guns if you want to pass them on and they are still on your bound book when you pass?
20. I have googled this quite a bit over the past few days and still don't have an answer.  If I have my C&R FFL can I transfer firearms that I have purchased with it to my gun trust?  If so is it handled just like transferring any other type of firearms only they have to be removed from my bound book?  Or are there other hoops to jump through?
21. Thanks for all of the feedback everyone.  I have sent messages to both.
22. Was this an online option that didn't require face to face interaction?  Just wondering since you are in Knoxvegas.
23. Getting serious about starting up my trust - have the green light from my better half.  Wondering which vendors/lawyers are best and openly request any on here to send me a PM with pricing and/or details.  Also looking for feedback from those that have went this route as far as who they would suggest I use.   Thanks
