  1. If you can afford to, save the stock parts. You never know when they'll come in handy. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  2. I imagine there's people old enough here shootin' blanks. :D Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  3. But I was a bit concerned when I found out they are half off if you "model" them for his fall catalog. I didn't feel right, but half off is half off. Then thats what he said. Which half, bottom or top? Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  4. That one guy is ammo rich! Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  5. I have a PPS, that I love, but I'm thinking about a Shield more and more. I feel it might be in my best interest to have the match to my M&P nightstand gun. I'm still torn between 9 or 40, but like the full size, it looks like you can get the 40 and use the 9 barrel/mags. I'm still in the beginning stages of researching that. 6. It'd scare the poo out of me. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  7. For whatever reason I can't start a PM right now, but I'd be interested in hearing what you have to say. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  8. That's where I took mine and they made it as interesting as possible. Still pretty boring though, Lol. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  9. I will be sure to remember that when I win that rifle! Thanks man!! I didn't know they were giving away 2 of them. ;) Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  10. You'd think so, but the city would have to pay for repairs and she'd still be alive. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  11. I generally take mine off when I target shoot just because of weight. I have shot a few hundred rounds with it on without any issues. My friend has the same one and never takes his off. He has about 500 with his on. Both guns are .223. I got mine through Botach Tactical that came with a gg&g mount for less than $80. I got him his through amazon for $60. I also got a a streamlight 1 cell for edc and it has held up just fine bouncing around in my cargo pocket. Also picked up a 20 or so pack of streamlight cr123 batteries on Amazon for cheap too. 12. Look for the streamlight protec (protac?) hl. 600 lumens and if you look you can find it for $60. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  13. As much as I like(d) Midway I just can't support their ammo shipping prices. Have they always been insane? Shipping on everything else I have bought has always been reasonable. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  14. Thanks! I'll be more than happy to buy new furniture on a free gun. :D Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Southwest def gives their attendants liberties with the preflight announcement. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  16. PPS all day for a single stack 9 or 40. Absolutely love mine. P938 will probably be my next purchase for something different and to match my 238. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  17. I wouldn't be surprised if she liked the XDs 45 over the TCP shooting wise. The TCP is such a snappy little gun. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  18. I don't know if other holsters are this way, but the benefit of my comp tac mtac (for another gun) is I can just switch out the kydex for a new shell if I get another gun to carry. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  19. I just picked up a Raleigh Talus 29 for $550 and I'm real happy with it. It came in cheaper than all the bikes in its class and had ever so slightly better components than most. They make a women's version too. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  20. I don't mean to hi jack but does this work in reverse? Can I convert my 9mm to .357sig? I don't know. Some people say no, but I for the life of me can't figure out why. Since I don't have a 9mm gun I haven't dug into it. Better to look at the M&P forums and Google it. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  21. Thanks ! I didnt know that . If I do the barrel for the 9mm would I have to change extractors and ejectors ? What about the recoil spring since it is a different cartidge with different pressures ? Nope. Literally just swap the barrel for the 357 and barrel/mag for 9mm. I did the Apex DCAEK kit on mine, but left out the new trigger return spring to keep the pull around low 4lbs instead of the 5-5.5 with it. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  22. You may or may not be aware, but you can buy the $75 OE .357sig barrel and swap it in. You can also buy the $65 OE 9mm barrel and OE 9mm magazines and use those. My M&P is one of my favorites and most versatile guns I have. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  23. Open to the public. Sometimes you will see LE only prices and civilian prices. If it's new, and cheap, that's the LE price. They use pawn shop/cash store just a couple of miles away in TN. $25 transfer fee and $10 of that is the background check. The savings in GA sales tax makes up for the cost of the transfer. I've also heard they are quick to drive the gun over for the transfer. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
  24. Those are good choices too. Shooters Depot +1000. First time I went in there they were busy, still didnt have to wait more than 60 seconds, employee walked up and started talking to me, didnt have to go hunting for an employee. Even though they were busy, still took the time to answer every one of my questions. Seems like its always like that. I like that place. Yup, the reason I have bought 6 of my guns there.
