  3. Does anyone have any experience with any of their training programs? They are ideally convenient to me but I'm curious where their range is as it can't be onsite a block from Nashville West. I'm interested in the advanced training classes (and yes I know about other places and I can read the recommendations, promise.) I just don't see where anyone has mentioned this group. http://www.executivegunsolutions.com
  4. Heard mention of a tiny drawstring on the inside of the ring that when pulled transforms into a 12' of forest green paracord too Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Thanks sir Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Just make a sign. Be a real ass, smile, lift it from under the counter & set it down in front of them & just look a them..still smiling. "This register closed when cell phones are in use." There is legal verbiage being a merchant that it is your responsibility to inform the customer of the total prior to processing their credit/debit card. You just need to ensure an environment that allows the customer the ability to hear that, this is solely for their benefit :-) Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  7. If you're near the river fish & pan for gold. If not maybe take a ornathological guide & binoculaurs & try to identify some birds. Sit around and read & drink & be kinda lazy. Look for civil war/settler artifacts. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  8. Make sure you have adequate lighting for at night the likeliest time after your dad's neighbor has been bolstered by liquid courage to ensure you have good evidence of any continue dumping/vandalism. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  9. I'm left handed & have a vertical/horizontal velcro rig. I sometimes do horizontal..vertically is easier if you have more than 1 extra mag tho. On the horizontal it depends what oclock u want to be on your body. For possible SD situations id recommend any action the predominantly presents the top of your hand to your target so that you provide less visual of what you are doing, if you are close in to someone else you can present knuckles to face sooner with less pressure points exposed. Rear 4-6 o'clock id suggest bullet up mag bottom to right so the rotation can occur as you bring your arm around. And you have better mag control as your palm is up under when extracting in rear.. when going for reload you will have spiked adrenaline & be more apt to butterfinger. If u want 1-3 o'clock I would say probably bullet down & magazine butt to the right. It will require you to draw past the holster but avoid the need to rotate wrist and give you more speed. ideally for speed id recommend a 1-2o'clock positon. It is ultimately personal preference & you should experiment with what is most comfortable then practice unloaded many many times. Then practice loaded many many times. Then practice loaded & firing on the move under stress many many times. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  10. I have some teva water shoes (not the toe sock kind but the slip on glove kind). I love em & they've held up 4 summers now. Definitely pay attention to the thickness of the sole the make sure it will cushion from sharp rocks. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
  11. We pulled boots over shoes up north when I was a kid too.. maybe it's more regional...haven't looked Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2

  14. unfortunately, don't know about peejman but some people only live on .37 acres & have HOA drones reporting if they overwater the mandatory azaleas near the uniformly white mailboxes

  17. To the OP I've worked retail that had no weapons policy in store & on premises. I've also seen new district managers come into stores & term 10-15+ yr managers/supervisors for 'performance/store conditions'. Which actually means they gave into the pressure from their boss to cut payroll and the quickest way after cutting hours is churning high rate management/cashiers. We had a mgr meeting once where the admin asst of the dm prepared a big binder (bout 125pgs) for each mgr. She accidentally included the emp id/payrate/# of vac weeks allocated for every full time emp in each store in the district. The admin asst was only supposed to include this set of pages in dm binder for after meeting reviews. Admin asst was fired within 1 month. Incidentally, it was like clockwork over the next 3 years that those highest paid mgrs/supervisors were termed as well. Two mgrs did file suit and received settlement. The point is retail CHAIN companies don't care about you one iota. You're just a numerical expense. If the shtf in the pipeline or new upper mgrs roll through you are the scapegoat. You have a greater likelihood of being afforded dignity & consideration with an independent pfft if you can find one that can afford to pay you though ;( All that being said trying for deep concealment & doing planograms or stocking shelves can be a very bad idea. The choice to try to carry in that environment is fraught with a very high risk of discovery. It depends on the exact nature of your position and the amount of physical contortion you are doing that might reveal your policy breach. There isn't a retail job I could have where I would pay attention to any policy about having it in your vehicle. I would recommend a vehicle safe with locking cable & numeric keypad. Biometric is awesome for at home sure. with a keypad you can't remember the combination to show the LP guy the contents, you'll probably be fired sure, only pg 87 of all the small print you probably agreed in your hire paperwork to comply with personal and vehicle inspections. you do have some legal grey area regarding being forced to input the combination etc (whole side issue there). Really though, if you got fired from your retail job how hard would it be to get another retail job? Easier than being reborn from a carjacking two miles from work on the way home because your retail job made you work until the store closed at 10pm & you are there another 30 min on a friday night?
  18. my wife is a nurse, on a trip to michigan & on a trip back from florida we were 1st on scene to some pretty twisted wrecks fortunately no fatalities... after the first trip we realized she had nothing beyond band-aids & tylenol in the car. i ordered her http://amzn.com/B000YMANLA . she likes it, she tossed a couple items & added some cpr shields and a few more things. amazon has a bunch of options similar. Dolomite is correct, you will ultimately save money putting together your own pack. i was in a hurry to get her something and figured this worked out pretty well on the florida incident.
  19. Didn't do it it time for father's day.... father inlaw is retiring in aug/sep tbd yet. Have been hearing the radio ads for pilotjourney.com. it's like $129 instructor does landing/take off but turns over control for you to fly part of the trip. I'm thinking he might really like this. Is it appropriate for a retirement gift or should we just feed his golf addiction lol. Anyone with flyin experience is this a good deal? He's only ever flown commercial to my knowledge & I don't know I he will really have a huge interest. Are there better package deals out there anyone would recommend?
