  1. Die set available - FTF Rockvale/Murfeesboro area. $30
  2. Absolutely mint older Anschutz 1517, with heavy barrel. Accuracy is wowza! Comes with Weaver 4x16x42 with A.O, and 100 rounds of Hornady 17gr V-Max, already sighted in. I bought this new about 20 years ago. I'm going to call round count at less than 200. $950
  3. I would go with whichever shoots best in my gun (accuracy, cycling, recoil factor). Either one is a good defense load.
  4. Bump for an uncommon Smith (caliber wise). You see more 17s (.22) than magnums it seems. Nice gun, nice price.
  5. Sold my inline, went back to my original 40-year-old T/C Renegade 50. More Nostalgia, more fun.
  6. Spending 36 years with the Army, I'm a vaccination kind of guy. I took a flu shot every year since age 19, I'm 66 now. The last time I had the flu was when I was 18, so for me, I think they work. So it was no big deal for me to take the Covid vax, but to each their own. Some people just don't like the idea of a vax, period, That's the great thing of being an American, we have choices. Personally I'd rather take the vaccination risk than rolling the dice on how full blown Covid may or may not play out. Any doubts I had on getting the vax were erased when we lost Steel Harp. Him and I were about the same age. I wish the best to all of you for avoiding this damn virus.
  7. Spent 36 years with the Army, 4 years active, 32 as an Army Civil Servant. 18 years of that as a tank mechanic, but then got burnt out on being greasy, and transferred into public affairs for U.S. Army Recruiting Command HQ my last 8 years. That was an interesting gig. I retired in 2010 and haven't had a bored day yet. Did I mention I like guns?
  8. I need some .45 acp brass. I have plenty of .38 and 9, and will trade 2 for 1 for .45 acp. Can spare enough to cover 500 .45's (for 1000 of 9's or 38's)
  9. Thumbs up on Cedars, I've camped there. Right off of 840, and close to 40, Lebanon area.
  10. I'm surprised you're not on that Sheffield machete I posted. That was probably made in your neck of the woods.
  11. Price reduced. Has to be a Cold Steel fan out there.
  12. I have more deer rifles than I can use or even have places to hunt for that matter. This is a sweet one. Light weight (6lbs) and beautiful wood. Kimber hand checkers, hand finishes their stocks. Has match grade 22" barrel too. Scope is a Burris Fullfield II 3x9 with 30mm tube. Strap not included, as it's on my 6.5 Swede now. GONE
  13. Cold Steel, Japan made Recon Tanto, length overall: 11-3/4" in. Blade 7 in., 3/16th thick. It weighs 9 oz. It has a (Kydex) sheath and Kraton rubber handle. Steel is Japanese AUS 8A. This is #540 of 600 made Lynn C. Thompson editions, the founder, owner, of Cold Steel Inc. Never been sharpened nor carried. Bought this while watching the Dexter series years ago. Seemed like the right thing at the time. Would make a great knife for stabbing rhinos or 55 gallon steel drums ... whichever environment you happen to be in at the time. SOLD
  14. Black wheel attached ... on TGO soon? Maybe when I'm 80.
  15. 147 launches, give or take 40+ or so. It's never been slimed ... very rare for a fish bow, almost like being a safe queen. No way on the creeper seat. That's been my backdrop for many of my handguns I've sold. Blue guns go on the red seat, stainless guns go on my black leather office chair.
  16. This Fish Hawk was only used one season. It was my last bowfishing bow. I just don't do that sport anymore. $400 new, I'll take $150 and include two fish arrows. It's ready to go fish whacking. I've got extra Muzzy fish arrows I'll let go at $10 a piece to the buyer. That's half price. Cumberland River is full of buffalo, carp and gar for some fun action. From Hunters Ramp on 231 down to the Steamplant use to be loaded up along the banks. I'm sure they still are. Cordell Hull is another hot spot for rough fish, especially big buffalo. Cheatham Lake (Cumberland river west of Nashville) has those crazy Asian Silver carp, they'll jump in your boat if your not careful. LOL
  17. Somebody's getting a nice rifle. I have the same rifle, but I hunt with it. One of my favorite 30-30s I own. Shame to let these sit in the safe. That long barrel makes for accurate, off-hand shooting.
  18. Piece of Naval history ... if only it could talk. $75 Reduced to $60
  19. What channel are you watching GRIT on? They just pulled it off my "free air waves" 2.4 WKRN. They replaced it with REWIND. I was so mad, I send an email to the station manager. She said their contract ran out. I said renew it.
  20. 1968 Colt Frontier Scout .22 with factory stag grips. Nice leather holster included. Got this from Gr8smiles 6 months ago, but yes, it was pure impulse. I'm never going to play cowboy ... well, maybe while watching the GRIT channel. Only trade that would interest me would be a lever gun. $650
  21. I want that 3" stainless N-frame Smith!
