  1. Available is a like new Aimpoint PRO mounted in a like new Scalarworks qd mount. Fairly certain I've got the boxes and paperwork both came with. Asking $480 ftf in and around the Murfreesboro area, add $20 if you want them shipped. Payable by usps m.o.
  2. Available is a HK45 from the motherland. This BG date coded HK45 comes with everything it left the factory with, case, manual extra backstrap, barrel orings and of course sticker. Pistol also comes with meprolight night sights and 3 mags. I'm not the original owner so round count is unknown. Pistol has some wear as seen in the picture, but is in good shape. Asking $780 ftf in and around the Murfreesboro area. Must be a Tennessee resident legally able to own a firearm, HCP preferred, may ask for bill of sale if you're new. Buyer also has first opportunity at a factory threaded barrel, 2 extra mags and a small HK embroidered range case. Asking $170 if purchased with pistol.
  3. I've got a jmac customs 5/8x24 2 chamber keymo brake if you're interested.
  4. Can they thread the can for 1.375x24? It seems like that is becoming an industry standard. Then you could choose between several mounting systems. Also, check out Dead Air's Xeno mount system.
  5. That was a solid deal that I probably should've jumped on
  6. I sprung for an exmark radius 4 years ago when we moved to the house we're in now where I mow just over 3 flat acres. While it's not a full bore commercial unit, the x-series has many of the features found on the Lazer z's. The suspension seat is fantastic! The fabricated deck is also commercial grade and cuts fantastic in both wet and dry conditions. Get the best hydros you can afford. The FX series kawi is rated for a service life of roughly 1250 to 1500 hours I believe, I clock about 50 hours per season. I wouldn't be afraid of a slightly rolling terrain, I just wouldn't mow it while it's wet.
  7. Id be interested in the barrel if you decide to part it out
  8. At this point, driving isn't necessary. Do you find either to be easier on your eyes to be behind for extended periods of time?
  9. I've been selling off unused items lately in an effort to go all in on a good night vision setup. The main reason I'd like to be able to see in the dark is to be able to watch over our animals at night. Our main threat is coyotes. However I've started to wonder if thermal would be better for what I'll be doing. Eventually I'd like to get both, but initially that won't be feasible.
  10. I have no direct experience with silencerco's asr but work with a guy who has them and to my knowledge he hasn't had any troubles. I do like Dead Air's taper/gas seal on their muzzle devices, but keymo does add a good bit of length and weight. You didn't mention what you're mounting or mounting to, but check out Dead Air's Xeno mounts. It's more of a direct thread mount but with LH threads and it still has a taper. eta: big fan of Surefire socom mounts with their gas seal
  11. Very nice!!
  12. Along with the 4 basic rules, all our defensive guns have lights for this very reason.
  13. The NFA bug has bit hard... is there anyone localish to the murfreesboro/nashville area that does engraving for sbr's and form 1 suppressors?
  14. May you rest in peace Uncle Phil, my wife and I are going to miss you.
  15. While I didn't set a budget, I don't mind paying for a quality product. I do think that's a bit more than I'm willing to put into this project lol...
  16. I recently picked up a ruger American in 300 blackout and I'm trying to select an optic for it. Primarily this will be shot in the back yard for fun, max distance is 100 yards. I tried a red dot and it worked just fine, but I'd like the ability to add magnification to i.d. critters like foxes and coyotes out to 300 yards. My one and only stipulation is that the optic not be made in china. And I'd rather not add a magnifier to the red dot.

    Taurus G3C

No, same size as the 2c. The 3c now takes glock sights, not sure if anything internally is different.
  18. I'm soon hoping to start purchasing suppressors and I'm having a hard time figuring out if a trust is the right way to go or not. How would the added cost of a trust be a benefit in the long run? My current train of thought is purchase the suppressors for the guns they will live on with no intention of moving them from gun to gun. I don't have shooting buddies who would borrow them. It is just my wife and if she ever wanted one for her gun she could get one. What stays in my mind though is to go ahead and get the trust and add my wife after every purchase was made. Any input would be appreciated.
  19. I saw a few of the newer release Colts marked CR6920 and wondered what the difference was.
  20. For right around 1k I'd look strongly at a used vortex razor 1-6 gen2.
  21. Currently I'm towing roughly 4k lbs. The truck I have now manages, just wish it had better brakes and a stronger transmission. Going to a larger trailer and adding equipment in the near future will be more than it can handle. eta, this purchase will most likely be in the spring as current used truck prices are just stupid!
  22. I'd have to know a good diesel mechanic before I jumped into that pool. My wife's work uses a f350 and f550 both with diesels. Those trucks always seem to give them motor/def/emissions problems.
  23. The time has come to start looking for a replacement for my 15 year old half ton Chevy. This will be a 3 to 4 year old truck, not new off the lot. My question is if you were going to tow 6500 lbs 4 days a week, week in and week out, would you be fine with a newer 1/2 or would you consider a 3/4 ton?
