As already stated, the VZ2008 isn't actually a an AK-47. It shares some design ideas but it's a completely different rifle all together. Why don't build an AR? You could build a really nice one for cheap right now.

Well he learned some people don't just roll over and certainly chose the wrong crowd to mess with on top of that.

Hence my cable loop thought. 8mm should be able to hold that kind of weight no problem. Normal sling studs are maybe half that, if not less.

He's not sorry for anything. He just didn't get the response he was looking for and poked a bear that shouldn't have been poked, and now he's having to back-track on it.

My first thought would be to use one of those slings like the Blackhawk! 3 way convertibles that has a loop to put over your hands guard. Problem is they were made for rifles like the M16 that have coverage over the barrel. The problem I see there is possibly melting it if you shot too much. Maybe you could make a cable loop to go around.

Yeah my experience is you have to learn to shoot a Glock, I couldn't hit anything when I got mine. Took 500-600 rounds for me to get really comfortable with it.

I'm starting to think it's looking like Bernie over Hillary.  The media wants it to be a Hillary vs. Bush election but I don't think they're going to get it with Trump and Sanders in the running.  Heck, Sanders has the college kids going wild and eating out of his hands and referring to him as the "incorruptible Bernie Sanders."

The RWS match ammo is the same way. Haven't noticed any real difference in my guns BUT I was shooting it in bolt actions, not semi autos.

So as the title implies I'm looking for rail suggestions in the 14 inch to 15 inch range.  Any type of mounting system proprietary or otherwise is fine with me.  I would like for it to be able to fit an adjustable gas block however.  Ultimately I'd really like a 14.5" but they seem to be few and far between.

Still cheaper than a round of Helice.

So if you or I went to Colorado with our rifles we could bring our magazines too? Nothing stating they "had to be in state at time of law enactment." Or some such wording?
