1. You know, you might be right, with my affinity for old Com Bloc pistols and all.
2. Went to the gun store and walked out with a new Gen 4 Glock 19. Put close to 200 rounds through it immediately at the range and I have to say I like it way more than I thought I would. Only thing to do now is make a holster and magazine pouches and I'll be set to rock and roll with it. It's a Glock, we all know what they look like but pictures will be coming later.
3. I thought carrying was practically mandatory in that line of work.  There's a really entertaining video out there of a guy trying to rob one with a little .25 or something and the clerk pulls a huge revolver on the guy.  The robber did not stick around needless to say.
4. I've become a fan of the SOG multitools after switching over from Leatherman. I've been carrying the Sog EOD for several years now and using it daily, and rather innapropiately for some tasks it wasn't designed for, like a hammer. The thing I like is that the compound gears make cutting through things really easy and that it's a fairly slim tool. What I don't like is not being able to replace the cutting jaws on the pliers like you can do on some Leatherman models, but then again the jaws aren't that rough on mine either. All in all I don't think you can go wrong between Sog and Leatherman.
5. It seemed like in one shot the rounds were really close to one another but that could have been camera angle. That and after watching it you are correct about the right being the leader.
6. I noticed the same thing.  Think it could be variance in the ammo?
7. I do, yes.  Only difference is that I got mine from Academy.  No issues from mine and it's found a home in my travel gunsmith tool case.
8. Anyone care to enlighten some of us?
9. The Izula is an excellent small fixed blade.  The 5 is a big knife.  I keep mine on the side of my bag.
10. Don't mind at all, actually finishing up some horse things I'll have to show you. Anyway. Send me a pm Maroonandwhite and I will give you a list of things and answer any questions you have.

Flu

It was bad this year, hit me like a bus a couple weeks back.
12. Yeah I saw that after I bought it, but I'm willing to live with that for what I paid for it. Also as noted, I have an excuse now to buy another.   What I'm hoping is that since mine is a slightly later ('94) that it will fit the new magazines but I'll have to see.  In any case it will at least give me a test gun to work on and see what I want to change and like.  Starting with that stupid magazine brake.
13. They've sold guns for a while but only blackpowder I think. Seems like it's only been in the last two or so that they got their FFL.
14. This was an unexpected one but I had to have it. I went up to Smoky Mountain Knife Works on Sunday just to cruise around and see what was new. While there I stopped by the guns to see what they had in their surplus and trade in section, and that's when I found this. It's an Israeli trade in CZ 75, transitional pre-B. Rough on the outside but everything else internally seems to be in great shape. I took it out Monday evening to test fire it and I think it just replaced most of my handguns, it's an awesome shooter. Should have bought one sooner. http://i1246.photobucket.com/albums/gg609/gjohnsoniv/Mobile%20Uploads/Snapchat-3376398861398918261_zpszp0rplkj.jpg
15. With the current administration I'd say they're more likely to send them to Anniston to be run through the crushes/torches than have civilians end up buying them. But, but, but if they do come up for sale them you know where I'll be.
16. Aim Surplus has been getting in a number recently, actually still have some last I checked.
17. I had the same question.
18. My question is how he got the loaders off base, you'd think someone would notice it getting carried off.
19. Congrats on the new pistol. I've decided my next buy is probably going to be a FN 9 Compact.

The "A2.5"

I think I just figured out what to do with my spare A2 lower without upper.
21. The guy who owns/runs Czechpoint is a really nice guy. Just a tangent.
