It's good business, if you can get away with it (at least in Comcast's eyes)!
-
Comcast keeps trying to charge me rent on my cable modem. I've called and corrected them at least four times now.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. No matter the age, or the situation, its tough. Prayers for you and your family.

I'm longing for the day Google fiber is available. I can't wait to call Comcast and tell them to cancel. The conversation with the retention department will be fun...

Any guidance for car travel to Georgia?
bubbadavis replied to RAJBCPA's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I travel to Atlanta on business pretty often. The biggest concern I have involves the Ga State Troopers along I75. I don't recommend speeding. -
Glad you are back home - heal up quick!

Paypal sent for a regular blade #55 - my usual number. Thanks for getting this together (again)!

Photographing a handgun with an object in the trigger gaurd.
bubbadavis replied to Will Carry's topic in General Chat
I've done it in order to put the gun at an angle for the photo. It helps with getting a good photo to show the nuances of the gun. -
Prayers for you and your family. Losing your Mom is tough.

Official TGO Pro Tech Godfather Buy in thread SOLD OUT

Got mine today. Thanks for getting this together willis68! -
Weird - my Tavor has no problem with PMAGs.

One word: Geissele (http://geissele.com/super-sabra-trigger-tavor.html). I couldn't measure my stock trigger pull with my digital gauge - maxed out. With the Geissele installed, it's about 5 1/2 pounds. Huge difference! Your welcome to give mine a try to see if it's worth the cash.

If you're trying to be combative, you need to try MUCH harder. I believe in the trust but verify methodology too. http://www.tn.gov/sos/election/results/2002-11/Amend-info.pdf includes this: Counting the votes In order for the amendment to pass and become part of the Constitution, two things must happen: 1) The amendment must get more "yes" votes than "no" votes; and 2) The number of "yes" votes must be a majority of the votes cast in the gubernatorial election. To determine the votes needed, all votes for all candidates for governor are added together. This number is divided by two or halved. The number of "yes" votes must exceed that number. If the number of "yes" votes exceeds the number, the Constitutional amendment passes and becomes part of the Constitution.
-
Yep, that's it. Like I said, it doesn't make much sense (at least to me). The state interprets "voting for Governor" as actually casting a ballot in the Gubernatorial race. I think the intent is to keep from passing an amendment that most people don't care enough about to vote. Using 50% of the votes cast for governor at least gives some minimum amount of support.
-
Amendments are different. The yes votes have to win and be 50% + 1 of the total votes for governor for the amendment to pass. So if 100,000 people vote for governor but only 80,000 vote on an amendment, it still takes 50,0001 yes votes to be approved. Don't try to make sense of this - some politicians obviously came up with this plan!

Try 161.170.244.20. That's what I get when pinging walmart.com. When I try to visit the IP you provided, I get the same blank page. Looks like it might be a DNS issue.

Did you clear the cookies on the machine? You can also try "in private" browsing (or whatever IE calls it). I've had sites I couldn't visit due to cookies issues in the past. Using in private browsing eliminates this possibility. Maybe your computer is haunted and doesn't want you to visit Walmart? :)

Any bald guys use anything other than a razor?
bubbadavis replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
Headblade works great: http://www.headblade.com/. Been using them for over 4 years - takes longer to shave my face than my head. -
They included a hat, several stickers and a couple of velcro patches with my trigger. I pre-ordered directly from Geissele.
-
I got mine last Friday. According to my digital trigger pull gauge, my stock trigger was over 12 lbs - the gauge maxed out. Dropped in the Geissele and its a smooth 5.5# pull. Made a HUGE difference.
-
I wouldn't... but just guessing based on the pic.
-
My guess: S&W Shield and it looks like the back plate is missing so the firing pin would be too.
-
I may be able to make it - depending on the date. I'm a GGC member. I've got a YHM Mite to bring along.

Aftermarket M&P triggers, what would you buy and why?
bubbadavis replied to Hunter24's topic in Handguns
Seconded... Not only would I buy it, I did. Made a huge difference.
