  1. Have you looked at one of those closely? The mag doesn't have a follower and you load the rounds in nose first. I seriously question it's reliability due to the fact that it relies on 2 extractors to pull the loaded round out of the mag and then pushes it into the chamber. Seems like an unnecessary step. At least they're trying something innovative.
  2. So it's $50 a brick? Haha so they weren't price gouging but now they are!
  3. The problem is even at $80 those buckets are selling for $150 on gunbroker.
  4. Unfortunately you won't find anyone that has then on the shelf unless they're selling them way above msrp in tn. As of last year Larue did away with their dealer program.
  5. That's actually an ignorant comparison. It's one thing not to shop there on some kind of moral ground but to state that's it's "good and funny" that things were stolen is just ignorant. We've all talked circles around the price gouging thing but no one made you buy goods at an inflated price.
  6. I've never gotten the chance to fire either of them but I've handled several larues, just not a costa. All of the larues I've handled had 3/4 moa test targets in them. The balance of the predatar is superb but I suspect bc of the lightweight barrel after a few rounds the groups will start to open up. The OBR is a little bit heavy but I would imagine it maintains smaller groups for longer. I guess the answer to your question is intended purpose.
  7. The walmart on nolensville and old hickory actually had ammo the other day.
  8. I don't like advertising exactly where I work but if your interested you can PM me as long you don't broadcast it.
  9. We have 5 of them coming in next week. I'll be interested to see if they're as bulky as the Taurus poly protector with the hammer.
  10. I have an accupoint 3-9x40 with the triangle reticle. At one point I was going to send it in and have the reticle swapped for the mil dot. The rep told me they could do it for $100 however people were having problems with being able to see the reticle lines, specifically the dots themselves. I say all that to say maybe if you have an existing accupoint you could send it in to trijicon and have them put in an acog reticle.
  11. I sent a few emails with him a couple of years ago. He told me that the only way to get the 9mm DI to cycle was to hand load 147gr. But it was super soft shooting. The 115gr target ammo wouldn't cycle it. Maybe he hasn't it worked by now.
  12. Ron Williams was making all the pistol calibers in DI. I think he even had one in 7.62x25.
  13. I think it depends on how you reload your shotgun technique wise. I keep mine with the first two closest to the muzzle brass up so that in the middle of firing I run dry I have 2 shells accessible to throw straight into the chamber ready to fire ASAP. Keep in mind I go over the receiver to get to the ejection port. Some people like to go underneath the receiver with this technique so brass down would be more beneficial. I keep the rest brass down so I can keep the gun and my head up (hypothetically I've run out of ammo because I'm in a gun fight and I'm loading during a lull). Some 3 gunners will load brass down and almost cradle the gun upside down to load while running. Obviously they're not worried about someone shooting back at them so having the gun "ready" isn't as crucial.
  14. Leupold makes an FXII in a scout scope. You might check Burris as well.
  15. They had some cci 22lr also, 2 per person.
  16. I was mistaken. Those are both considered gen 2s. It's arguable that they anything but aesthetic. I don't think I've ever seen a FA with issues with wear on the receiver holes. That being said I do have a set of each on SBRs
  17. I would highly recommend the gen 2 style. I have both and the ones in the picture bend if you use any kind of blue loctite should you ever have to remove them. I had jt happen when I changed a trigger out.
  18. We're selling quite a a few .22s maybe a little down from what we normally expect this time of year however sales all around are down.
  19. Do you think doctors and detectives complain as much on the internet after watching CSI or (insert doctor show) as much as gun people do about tv shows?
  20. Oops that's 9.5" not a 10.5". They used to offer 8", 10" and 12.5" I think.
