  1. They are all toys IHMO but some might actually help deliver a bullet. I choose lower left.
  2. I think you've been duped.
  3. Antique is actually defined as 1898 or earlier...regular ATF purchasing rules do not apply. C&R status is automatic for anything over 50 years old. If you find a Mosin with an 1898 receiver then nothing more is required then handing over the cash and taking home the rife. Otherwise all Mosins are C&R eligible. If you have the license then you should be able to save $10, based on the seller's mood.
  4. Aim had a small batch several month ago. You must have dig up an old page...it happens. Either way make sure it's not a Super model. Those are 9mm Largo (9x23mm).

    Finally got a CZ

CZ's are indeed excellent pistols and will out shoot a Glock any day of the week. Congrats on a great purchase.
  6. Now that punk is gone I might start watching again.
  7. If you can't find anything a little dab of flourescent paint on the front sight might help.
  8. Nope, they're just gonna microstamp everything and put in expiring primers.
  9. When the walls fell.
  10. This entire thread says a lot about people...and I'm not talking about the cyclists. Get over it, share the road. If it's not somebody on a bike then within the next 10th of a mile there will be some other inconvenience. Old ladies in their Buicks, pedestrians, people in other cars texting and yapping on the phone, random critters running across the road....
  11. What would the rest of the site be used for?
  12. The article implies that the Starbucks gatherings by open carry supporters was the catalyst for this warm and fuzzy. Shall the debate now continue?
  13. This country is at war with itself. Screw the rest of the world, if we don't get our house in order and damn quick, there will be nothing left to fight for.

    Ammo ID help??

It is M2 AP ammo...just like it says. Military issue M2 (.30-06) Armor Piercing in enbloc clips and bandoleer for M1 Garand. Worth about $1/round. Clips are worth about $1-2 each. Bandoleer I have no idea.
  15. I would give my money to ORSA. Was a member of VPRC for two years and all that got me was in the John Sevier range without having to pay and discounted sporting clays. The range rules there are still what they are. When renewed that second year it took literally 6 weeks to get my renenal "card" (new sticker for electronic gate key). There was zero communication from that club to me. No emails, schedules or anything. Yes, I could have gone to the monthly meetings but I would expect a little more. I am not a member of ORSA (yet) but have shot in several CMP matches out there and had a great time. Seems like an all around good bunch out there.
  16. There is a lot to know about Lugers. Takes years to learn it all. I know next to nothing but that one pictured is easily worth over $1k.
  17. Cool. U stands for Union Metallic Cartridge Company which later merged with Remington.
  18. Another recommendation for Bellshire Hardware. Got a compact tactical from Phil and it is an excellent gun. Flawless and accurate.
  19. I bet by this time tomorrow your mind will change again.
  20. At least you found something that was already butchered.
  21. On the contrary, Wal-Mart only sells factory seconds with special serial numbers.
  22. I am really, really tired of being nickeled and dimed to death.
  23. Are you trying to use the same email address?
  24. I was about to make a crack about starting a thread title with OMG but...thanks. Anyway, congrats to the OP.
  25. Keep your eye out for Yugo M48's or 24/47's. They can be found in like new condition, unmolested, for that price.
