  1. Those grips are great looking! But are they any better than wood?
  2. 41. Garufa likes them. So they must be bad!
  3. Both are owned by ATK....ATK - Ammunition Systems Group Doesn't mean the ammo is the same......
  4. That's why they include that little rod that seems to serve no purpose. It's a tool to help get that spring aligned when putting the slide back on.
  5. S&B "Range Safe" ammo is steel cased but nice and shiney like brass. So beware if you pick any up off the ground expecting to reload.
  6. What kind of ammo are you using? That is exactly how my SA behaves with Wolf. Regardless, may still need that extractor looked at.
  7. If you're aiming to buy a used car from Junior Samples just call BR-549. Hee-Haw!
  8. 9x18 ammo is readily available. 50 rounds will set you back about 10.50 + shipping. More powerful than .380.
  9. David, do you have an oven in the garage, or does your wife tolerate these shenanigans in the kitchen?
  10. I have one and it is an excellent shotty. Basically, it is an 870 action internally. Very smooth out of the box. And at $199.95 brand new it can't be beat. Many people mistake mine for an 870 even with the noticable hump on the back of the receiver. Pros: All steel contruction. American walnut stock (if that's the one you're looking at) The only plastic on this shotgun is the magazine plug, or the stock if you get that version. Chromed bolt. Blued receiver. Uses Mossberg/Winchester choke tubes. Excellent price. Cons: Made in China. NOT many upgrade options. 870 barrels will NOT fit without some type of modification or unless you're really lucky. NEF has a couple of barrel options but will only sell them if you send gun to them for fitting. After-market parts are non-existant other than chokes, so you can't get too tacticool. It is what it is. A very high-quality 12ga pump shotgun at a reasonable price.

    Rexio RJ-38

Argentinian. Rexio - Firearms Manufacturer Maybe a knock-off of a Tauras, which is a knock-off of a Smiff & Western. In other words, I have no clue.

Dueling Banjos? Mike, I hear 'ya about the .30 carbine. It's a vicious little round considering the velocity and projectile shape. We need to find some clay. Big, huge blocks of it.
  14. Welcome! Get in with the CMP and you'll find those M1's.
  15. I also have an old Fieldmaster (1st gun!) that will use'em. I think any .22 that's not an auto-loader can fire them. There used to be guns specifically chambered for short only, like the old "gallery guns" used at shooting galleries in the early and middle 1900's. Seems like you could still buy new 22 short only guns back in the 80's.

Isn't .30 caliber lower than the .45 is rated for? At least that's the reasoning we heard about OhShoot's spinner.
  17. Hittin' the Natty Light. I let'em sit in the freezer just before enjoying. Get'em down to about 33 degrees. Very refreshing on a freakin 91 DEGREE DAY IN JUNE. Of course that method works for all beers, but I'm sure ya'll know that.

Hope you're not gonna do that anymore. Have heard that bending those things may cause them to break. But I'd imagine you'd have to really get up on it to do that.
  19. As I type this ammunitiontogo shows the righteous and most triumphant Prvi Partizan .380 in stock. $19.95/box.
