  1. Since Rick is a main character I don't think the writers would have him give Michonne up to the governor. Audience would no longer like him and I think that would hurt the show. I'm passed ready for Rick to get his #!*# together. He really needs to get some sleep!
  2. Get the universal background check and registration and wait for the stars to align. This is only the end of the beginning! And also don't take your eyes off the Republicans for a second. Especially the ones that go out and eat a lobster lunch with Pharoh on the tax payer's dime while admonishing one of their own for filibustering. The Republicans eat their own while the democrats circle the wagons. The move to socialism is not pretty.
  3. Ranier Arms put together an upper for me, some parts supplied by me and some by them. Excellent build quality. I like the Vltor upper without forward assist which they keep in stock. At least before the run. They were great to work with. I would suspect their complete rifles would be top notch.
  4. Welcome from one red state to another. Glad to have you as one of the group.
  5. I think we need a Rand Paul Fillibuster Fund.
  6. Now thats a specific scenario. I'm curious now as to what the answer is. You mean sorta like the "Terminator in Terminator 2"? Cool!
  7. Seems like their grading system has some stuff that would be unconstitutional. Leave it to liberals to come up with a grading system where a "F" is the highest obtainable grade.
  8. Man, Are you all paid critics for the TV industry trying to takedown AMC's mega hit? They expended more ammo in the last episode than Arnold in "Commando". In fact the good group is low on ammo because of it. Sure very few rounds hit their mark. But if every shooter had been accurate they would need a whole new cast. And we learned how too de-jaw a Zombie.
  9. Welcome Dave, Come on down to a state with all three branches of Gov't controlled by gun friendly Republicans.
  10. No. Their made from melted worn out Tupperware.
  11. Welcome. Strawberry Plains my old stomping grounds. Enjoy the Forum!
  12. I would think that if the car is husband's or wife's you would be "OK" but better to be versed in the law to answer that one..Tell you the truth I'm not worrying that point to much.... As I read it, if you lock your vehicle you "OK" as long as your firearm is not visible. If you don't lock your vehicle then the firearm must be locked in trunk, car safe etc or the trunk. The firearm must be locked up in some way if you are not in the car and the car is in a parking lot. The sponsor also stated that the bill was kept short, simple and to the point. There I go paraphrasing again. Kudo's to Rep. Faison of Cosby, TN.
  13. The sponsor in committee answered (House Video) a question from one of the other Legislators and basically said and I'm paraphrasing, "this bill does one thing, keeps a permit holder from being criminally prosecuted if they have a firearm locked up in their owned vehicle". Glad it passed. Could it have gone further, yes. I'm one of those that feel the 2nd Amendmend grants that right anyway but I'll take it.
  14. Placed on s/c cal Criminal Justice Subcommittee for 3/5/2013   Looks like still in committee in Senate and House but moving. So thats good sign. Time to get this stuff passed while the Republicans hold all three. Parking Lot bill passed House today and it goes to the Governor.
  15. Very nice. What scope are you using?
  16.   Now your starting to tell your age when you go back that far. Especially when a lever guns worth quadruples.
  17. The single stack 225 are really nice. Should have bought one years ago when they were more prevalent. Even then they were pricey, new or used. I guess because there weren't many around and being a Sig. Comes down to concealibility or capacity IMO. Due to the crazy market, reasonable price (relative term) is higher than it was two months ago. If you want it and find it think hard before you pass it up. Gun control push is not going away anytime soon. Due to the times I would recommend capacity over concealability. Glock 19/26, XD and other options etc will conceal just as good as a 225.
  18. I know it's across the state but might check out "Guns and Ammo" in Memphis. They usually have a big selection of lever guns but I have not been there since before the mad rush on anything gun.
  19. Thanks to the popularity of the  "Cowboy Action" shooting events there are a number of excellent lever action pistol caliber rifles out there. I'm partial to the Winchester 92 action. Smooth as butter! Options have never been better.
  20. We should still fight the noise, but watch what else comes out at the same time. Some real sneaky politics, nowadays.   Dead On. We need to keep the pressure on. Do not stop writing your reps. Politicians getting behind closed doors is getting old.
  21. From what info is out there, ammo manufacturors are not making 22LR. May be quite awhile before it comes back. Most Walmarts have not had any in weeks. While other stuff trickles in.
  22. I don't know if I could shoot the little boy with gun. Might just move off the "X". Now if it was Carl on "Walking Dead"... maybe...
  23. Those who control fresh water in the future will control the world.
