  1. haha i laughed. simply because i feel like i'll be getting audited this year... ugh
  2. Not a great story teller. But I was in the 173rd ABCT 2/503 Battle Company from 06-09. Got hurt during our 07-08 deployment by an AGS-17. Was the best time of my life. Thankfully I work with some of my old battle buddies I served with at my current job over seas. Nice to have a group of brothers still fighting along side each other. Best part of the new Army, no KP duty. Sorry old timers. Haha Edited because I can't spell on my iPad, and autocorrect doesn't help.
  3. Unique color. I like it.
  4. had a gen 3 22 RTF2 with LW 9mm barrel, and it was a dream to shoot. LW produces some great stuff. Thinking of getting a G20 complete slide from them and drop it on my G21 frame
  5. So, today at work I go to get a new rear site for my M249 (your probably wondering how I managed to break that off... well, I'm still wondering myself), and while I was waiting I asked the armorer why my Glock 19 is so freakin' horrible and when I pull the trigger back all the way sometimes it doesn't even want to fire. I told him I took it apart, inspected it and noticed the disconnector didn't look all to happy. And he confirmed that it wasn't right, and goes "dude, your trigger bar is bent to, and you have a NY trigger to make it worst. Well, that would explain it.... So, here I am, walking around work with a bad gun.... So, we raped a new glock that was never issued for parts because he didn't have any in his inventory, and man, I feel like I have this amazing 1/2 trigger now :) Maybe after shooting with it broke and 15lbs, I just got used to it. But I can't wait to go to the range again and play with it now. I scored a 98% last time with it broke and just messing around after 3 months of being home. So lets see what this baby can really do :)   Who else has ever noticed a bent trigger bar, or bad disconnector? I have another co-worker here that had a similar issue, but it was no joke a 30+lb trigger. It took almost 2 hands to pull that sucker back. Anyone else having a problem with their Glock triggers?   We use Gen 3's, so not sure if your gen whatever will have the same problem, or if its been fixed or not.
  6. Is 40,000 rounds enough?    If I can acquire more primers, I can add another 10,000 to that. I have everything but primers, and it kills me. Well, and I'm short on 45 ACP cases. Have 2,000 more Precision delta bullets and 500 Berry's sitting around and nothing to put them in. Don't you hate when that happens?
  7. It came like that. With the comp and everything. Brand new from cabelas. 100% sure it's a 1/2x20. And I was referencing the bullet being so small and going so fast I don't think it would suppress that well. At least nothing like a .22 which is still going only half the speed of the 17 HMR. If it was subsonic yeah I could see it being decent for sure. I just haven't heard great things about suppressing the 17 HMR. And I've played with my fair share of suppressors at work, the army, and in the civilian world. I know what they sound like. :) And maybe it isn't the TR model then. I'll be back in the US in just over 3 months. I'll check the box it came in and see the exact model. Heck I think it even came with the scope mount. I only had to put the scope on it when I got it home.
  8. Mark, your the only reason I went out and got one of these... After shooting yours, I was hooked!   Also, I wish we got to shoot before I left for work again. I got that new MP5 .40 I'd love for you to try out! Maybe we'll get a more noticeable hit than the 9mm at 200 yards... haha   I'll check out furrycarrysolutions tomorrow for sure. I have a couple months before I need to get one. So, looking for now and making sure I get the best one I can and not jump the gun.
  9. Hey, I have one of those as well! have the 93R17-TR though. Mines green. Running a Loopy MK2 3-9 on it. been a great shooter so far. owned it for a couple years, and really only used it a handful of times. But she's accurate to say the least, and has an amazing trigger. Stock is very comfortable to shoot with as well in almost all positions. Never tried it suppressed, but I cant see it being that good.... such a small bullet going so fast... ehh. But it does have a 1/2x20 under the comp, so it wouldn't be hard to put a .22 can on it or anything. Tac innovations sells the thread adapter for cheap to make it a 1/2x28. Great gun, you'll love it, thats for sure!
  10. Does anyone here make kydex holsters? I'm looking for one for my Sig 1911 Tac Ops but am having a hard time finding one.
  11. Recently I've bought about $2,000 of supplies from him, and as long as he gets the stuff in, I'll only buy from him. Sam (his daughter) is awesome and very helpful. I think she even remembered who I was when I only met her once months prior... haha. Man, is she good.    Seriously, if you can meet up with him, you wont regret it.
  12. I put about 2/3's volume of corn cob media in my tumbler, have a larger one heads up, and can put about 500 9mm in there. I leave it on over night, change it out in the morning, then change it out before I go to bed. Keep repeating that cycle. about 12 or so hours each load. Brass comes out nice and perfect. Even takes off the gas markings of my MP5.
  13. lucky.... I really need to buy land...
  14. What is the blade length? never heard of this non-sense.
  15. I load 6grns Unique under 230gr RN 45's.
  16. My MP5's seen to do the same thing....   Since I came home last time, I think I got like 15 or 17 new guns... Just adding to the collection... doing another rotation soon, so we'll see what happened when I come home again... haha
  17. I also have NIB mags for $25 each if you need any :) haha
  18. ohhhhh, another MP5 patriot I see! thats what I'm talking about!
  19. I had one go off in my rock chucker as well about 4 years ago. also rem 7 1/2 doing .223 funny enough. I SLAM some primers in my .223 with my dillon 550B. I mean like slam, not love tap. never had another one go off sense the rock chucker. scared me. but wasnt a big deal. really not that bad. and didnt hurt anything. my friend has a Lee progressive, and the primer feeder is known to set all the primers off if one goes off. he said he had about 9 go off in a row. and read stories of all 100 going off. now that would scare the shit out of me. but one... nah. no biggy.
  20. Nice. Love those things. I'd take a HK45 over my USP any day. They just are so comfortable.
  21. All over the internet. Just type in "AR15 lower jig" in google. Can be had for $90-200 bucks depending on the complexity of the jig. I have a mill and looked into this a while back. would seem super easy. But, I just don't need another lower....    Companies make HK416 80% lowers, and a bunch of cool stuff. Endless possibilities.
  22. R.I.P brother.
  23. Lets think of companies like Barrett, that don't sell to California because they don't allow .50 BMG there. Barrett sells calibers of all sorts in all different guns. So, why not sell to California? To prove a point. Along with a VERY long list of companies that refuse to sell to that state. That just proves that companies can always sell their products other places, to other countries, always fill military orders, and do great without skipping a beat.    So, companies boycott police. Big deal. Police suffer, the gooberment gets the point that they don't have a major impact like they think they do, and HOPEFULLY stop this crazy talk and ban agenda crap. Sucks the police have to deal with it, don't take that the wrong way. But peoples eyes need to be opened. There are endless facts out there saying how more gun control is bad, and more guns for personal defense is good. Companies can not sell to someone and do great, this and that. I could rant forever, I'm about to loose my train of thought from thinking about how stupid this all is.
  24. If the mil/leo market doesn't buy them, it free's up more for civilian purchases and helps complete endless back-orders. They wouldn't loose a dime of money. Someone will always buy their products. Is the mayor really that stupid, thinking that would even make a difference?  Minnesota is doing the same with Federal, Remington and a couple others, saying if they don't stop selling to the public, Minneapolis police will stop buying from them. If it was my company, I would laugh and stop selling to them, and fill back-orders or push more to small business owners to help the local economy out.
  25. I just showed my wife that. That little girl is freakin awesome!!!!
