  1. If I had a job and $99 (car joke of course) I'd be in it this time. Haven't gotten my allowance for the month yet. Being Mr mom has it's drawbacks.
  2. It's tempting once again, but last time I did get two boxes and two of the same item. Got enough stuff laying around that I don't use. Good luck to those that order one.
  3. Another round, got the email this morning.
  4. I've got the PD35. On/off button on the back. The pad on the side has 5 clicks. Press and hold for 850 lumens of strobe, release and it goes back to normal setting. Sucker is very bright. Turn it off and back on, it goes to the brightness you left it on previously. Just noticed a few weeks ago a UC40 model popped up. Rechargeable version of almost the same light and 950 lumen. Tempted, but I also picked up another light not long after the Fenix.
  5. With a 3 month old and one 4 years, my range time has gone caput. The 200 rounds of mag should last a year or two. Booo.
  6. I shoot it, need to shoot it more now that I got the sights zeroed in. In my avatar over there <- Next time I go through some Greg, I'll PM you for an address.
  7. Don't think it's a molding issue. Why would it be out of spec now(top and bottom picture are 11 months apart)?
  8. Thanks for the pic. I'm going to call Glock hopefully tomorrow and see if I can get a new RSA at least. Still somewhat new to the brand if you can't tell.
  9. Bought this Gen 3 23 in April 2013. Have since thrown less than 500 rounds down range. Went to the range 2/28 for the first time in.....lets just say a while. Had FTE on both G26 and 23. I'll take partial blame for that as I've not shot in a while. Did have the local Glock guru at the range check them both out as I've never had an issue before. He said the spring might be weak. He pulled the slide back, pulled the trigger and slowly rode it forward manually. Didn't make it back to battery the last 1/4" under it's own power. Came home and started checking it out. The frame is curved a bit at the muzzle end. Any ideas on how this happened? Guess it needs to go back to Glock, hopefully not. Note: this is my "house" gun. It does not sit in hot cars or stored in hot places in the home. The last picture ( I hope) is when it was only a few months old. The other pictures are from today. Thanks, John
  10. Showed this to my wife, she agrees. Strange.
  11. Real answer, 0.  :google:       Worked many years on CVN-78.
  12. I like the Glock trigger better myself. I owned a full size M&P 40 for a better part of 6 years and seemed over half a magazine I was anticipating the trigger break. Bought a Glock 26 (due to size and concealment) and I learned the break in a few magazines. Could have gone with an Apex set up, but was ready to try something else. Have since picked up a 23. All M&P's are fine pistols, just wish the trigger was improved vs spending another $80-100 for a good trigger on an already +-$500 gun. Rent/shoot one, if possible like you said, before you buy.
  13. Welcome neighbor. VA transplant myself.
  14. I sanded and stained/cleared my Ethan Allen dining room table and It turned out fine. Just had to get over the first buzz with the sander on an antique piece of furniture.
  15. There is a thread on here somewhere about them that I started. I hear good things about there product. Sent off for a sample.
  16. I gotta have one, want to help out?
  17. welcome
  18. Need to try out this 45Cal thing y'all keep hollering about. Been a 40 person myself since I started carrying in 2007. Got sold on the "between calibers" thing from the salesman. Bought into it buying my first firearm. I find it easy for follow up shots. Still need to find a range toy in 45 this year.
  19. Welcome

    P22 Snake/Rat shot?

I dispatched one in the back yard where my 4 year old plays with a BB gun from 30'. Won't cause the local PD to cruse around either.
  21. Welcome aboard.
  22. Might need a rifle soon anyways. Almost cheaper shooting 223 than 40 right now.
  23. Welcome
  24. Got it in the cart and hit check out.......rejected :-\
  25. missed it
