  1. After handling one at a shop this week, I'm determined to get one. FN FNX-45 in FDE Use for HD(15+1 ) and range fun.
  2. I pulled my lower out and scaled the element as it was coming out. Still has about 8" of scuz in the bottom. Biggest thing around here is flushing them every 6 months or more to keep it clear, whoops.
  3. Do you think the online sales and ease of transfers are putting a hurt on shows in general? Like you said Mac, seems like a middle TN show should be popular. They used to be.
  4. Is it worth the admission for a rainy Sunday stroll?
  5. We moved here in 2005, there was nothing to do then. Two kids and a traveling wife there is plenty to do. It's tripled in size as far as housing, shopping and population since we moved here. Little crowded for me these days.
  6. I'm now a Keurig 2.0 owner. Wife had to pick up some work supplies from Costco and I had the truck, so I met her there. I could spend hours walking that place.
  7. Heard a radio commercial today about it. The guy was really selling as the biggest and best show around. Major issues with traffic getting to the place with the bridge out. There is a recent thread on here somewhere.
  8. Frankies Pizza and Grill is a good one but cost a few bucks. Grecian Pizzeria is supposed to yum too. Haven't tried that one yet.
  9. It is sleepy unless you enjoy a few cold ones. Best bet is run to the Cool Springs area in Franklin (20 minutes north). Fun is up there for now. Good food, drinks and sports, hit Jonathan's Grill next to the mall.
  10. 11 month old girl here, our xmas tree is doomed :jester:
  11. Oh how I wish I had AutoCAD on my home PC. My googlefoo turned up a PDF to DWG coverter. I miss work after 5 1/2 years of being laid off. Like peejman said, mark it up, sign and date should be sufficient. More than likely if "Joe Blow" modified it electronically, it might upset your builder anyways.

    Lights.

I've bought some new lights but none are going up until after turkey day. Slowly changing everything to LED.
  13. I'll tag along on this one. Thanks Willis.
  14. The M&P40 was my first purchase. Sold it and went with a G23 after 5 years of owning it.  I found myself flinching waiting on the trigger to break with the Smith. You can stuff Apex parts in there to get a good trigger, but the 23 (and G26) is right for me in frame size and stock trigger.
  15. Welcome neighbor.
  16. Welcome. Tons of good info already on the boards and plenty of knowledgeable people on here to help also.
  17. All 1000 rounds showed up yesterday. Nice looking stuff. Nice brass and lead. The thing I noticed was the boxes it was shipped in. If those where damaged something real bad happened. Sticker could have been just a tad bigger, bah humbug.
  18. Another vote for a 686. 1982 here.
  19. Window shopping only at FGS :stunned:. Nashville Armory is a very nice shop.
  20. Grabbed a 1000 too, but 500 in two calibers. Stayed off the HP this go around.
  21. Not having bought any reman stuff, would the hollow point stuff cause legal issues or would you use this mainly for training? Nevermind, not enough coffee yet. I'm in for two calibers to try it out anyways. "This bullet is not however ideal for home defense or law enforcement purposes."
  22. That made me think of the endless hours sitting with my dad on an aluminum Jon boat. Humming trolling motor and a frozen bottom because I left my cushion in the truck. Fun times for sure.
  23. what's the price range?
  24. On your own property or with a HCP elsewhere.
  25. Welcome to the neighborhood. VA transplant myself.
