My dogs are like children to me. I too, will leave it at that. Dave S I won't. I'd do jail time if someone shot one of my dogs and it wasn't an act of self defense. And considering 3 of my dogs are 8 lb malti poos, thats gonna take a hard argument. I might do jail time, but whoever did it would be spending the time I was in jail learning to eat through a straw, walk, and form words again if they ever came out of Coma Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

Ive done alot of looking on that and still havent found a definitive answer. Most people seem to agree that as long as its between 147 and 175 grains and the right power its fine. Did you ever have issues with it or just didnt want to risk it? Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

2005 GMC 2500 Duramax. Bought it for $18k. Tun3d it with with efi live, added air filter, full exhaust and nitrous. It was the fastest stock transmissioned Duramax in Socal, running 7.9 at 87 mph in the 1/8th. Guy offered me $25k cash for it which was way more than I had in it. Wish I had kept the truck Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere -

So I'm ordering reloading equipment while I'm gonna this summer, and I'm going to start rolling my own this fall when I get back. So here is my question. I will be reloading .223 and .308 and I was wondering how you guys go about load development? I know a reloading manual gives you the baseline, but after that? I plan to build an M1A Springfield into a DMR style rifle and want to work up my own loads for it that are as accurate as possible. Do you guys make 10 with the same specs, shoot them off a bench at 50 yds, check results, tweak one thing and do it again? Or do you use 25 yds or 100 yds to start? Do you make 10 to baseline, or 50? Just wondering what the most efficient method to go towards working on a load that fits one rifle perfectly

Lol it is definitely not for everyone. Growing up on it I never even realized how bad or dangerous it was until I was older and had friends come up to the house. When I was in high school I would time myself from Lake City to my driveway in my 78 Ford 4x4. Ive made it in under 20 min, running north of 60 mph up that road the whole time lol. When I started riding motorcycles, I did it faster. It can be nerve wracking with the coal and logging trucks during the week, and not having any guard rails.

$1k isnt breaking the bank for just an action? Jesus.... Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

Meh. It's a road. I live about 45 minutes from the overlook but rarely ever go there anymore. It's fun to ride when there's no traffic, but the persecution, parades, and idiots have ruined it for me. I suggest you come during the week and avoid it like the plague on weekends. This is how I feel about 116. I grew up on top the mountain and have drove and rode it my whole life. Now its one leg of the devils triangle, 2hatever that is. I am glad the tourist haven't found it like they did Deals Gap, I prefer to keep traffic and cops outta there. Well Ladies and Gents, as some of you know, I won't be around this summer. I have taken a job as teaching blacksmithing at Falling Creek Summer camp for boys. I may be able to post updates and pictures on occasion, but I won't be on here daily for a good while. I just wanted to tell my good friends on here goodbye for awhile, and that hopefully I'll be seeing y'all soon. Also, look for a post about a homecoming shoot in September lol. I leave early tomorrow morning, and I won't be back until Aug. 5th or later. So you guys take care. Jordan

Probably a fifty pounder. They have some force. Nothing says "I like pain" quite as well as using a machine with 200 lbs of force to slam a 1700 degree piece of metal that your holding lol. And yeah that axe will bring money... Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

If you were range hunting in that area you should have got ahold of me. Im not far from there and got plenty of range at my place. I hate when people use their authority to make people comply with things that they have no right to dictate -
OhShoot almost got shot today, idiots don't need to own guns

I hate to hear this. This is why I am happy to have my own land and be able to do TGO shoots for members only. Glad to hear all is well. Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere -

Spend money for the best saw you can get. We have to big Huskys, a 3120 xp and a 371 and they are both great saws. B9th have dropped thousands of large and small trees and sawed several thousand board feet using an alaskan chainsaw mill. This is our 3120. Ive used an ax a ton, but for getting sone with chores and moving on a good chainsaw is hard to beat. Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

So I have noticied some peoples ideas range on what a big knife is. Whats your idea of a large blade in length and width? To me a big blade is 10" plus long not counting handle, 1/4 or thicker, and at least 1.5" wide. My medium sized blades are 6-10" not counting handle, usually 1/4, and 1" or wider. Ive just noticied that alot of people call a knife large or big, then I see it and think its a good edc size lol. Am I the one whos proportions are out of wack, and Ive been making swords the whole time? Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

That would be intresting to work with. I'd love the chance to try it lol. Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

Ok, that too. Lmfao. There is no stress relief like beating the hell out of hot steel with a 4 or 6 lb hammer. You really want to work it out, use that 24 lb sledge. Though you might have a hernia when your done lol. Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

OR has hippies? Yes. And yuppies and libtards. Alot of them are from out of state and come in to work the lab. My neighbor works at ORNL, and is contracted from Missouri, though he is a gun lover also. Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

Thanks man. I strive to make every knife a little better than the last one Forging them has always appealed to me more than stock removal, because I can shape and bend and tweak it in a way thats not possible with grinding and cutting. Though stock removal makes some beautiful knives, I do feel it can be limiting in that your confined to the size of the stock you start with. Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere
