Look for a fair priced "75 to 100" dollar electric infrared heater. Infrared heater will send the heat across the room better than a cal-rod type heater.

Just a WAG, there is some detergent that has built up in the drain line in the machine. So it gets wet and suds when the machine pumps out. Try running a empty loads with hot water and see if it starts to clear.
