Saw this video on youtube http://youtu.be/nGBrfpWc4oQ The kids and I (mostly the kids) blew through a case of clay targets today. 22, 223, 308, 20ga, 12ga. The youngest didnt like the 12ga. LOL. I made 10 of the holders, each about 2 1/2 foot tall (6 inches in the ground, leaving 2 feet above ground). Only destroyed 1 holders with the 308. Hours of fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bersaguy, agree with wewoapsiak. If you don't have MSWord, you can download and install a free version that does the same thing. Open Office or Libre Office. They are both 100% free. Microsoft Word costs money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Poor guy just needs some attention. He probably dreamt of being in the military for years. Doctors probably wouldn't let him enlist. I feel more sorry for him than I do disgust. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If the oil is not cloudy, i might rule out a head gasket leak. Probably overflow hose or tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hydrochloric acid should do the trick (CLR or Lime Away). If that doesnt do it, any automotive aluminum polish would work. After using either, wash with hot soapy water. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Armadillos are quite often carriers of salmonella. Well done would be the only option bleach everything that the meat/blood touches.

Income is ABOVE the poverty line, but below $250,000 per family. I know "some" will argue that the upper limit is RICH.

On October 11, 2011, I told my best friend that I never wanted to see him again. he was with me through 4 wars, 2 marriages, several jobs, trucks and motorcycles. Things in my life came and went...but my best friend was always there for me, ready to calm my nerves. It was hard to tell such a dear friend that he was bad for me and it was OVER. If your opinions of certain firearms are similar to his, then you'll probably like him. If he has a scathing review of your favorite weapon, then you'll probably vote for clown. I think he is thorough but narrow minded at times. I give him a B minus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Doobie...glad to meet you. Retired infantry as well. Retired at Ft Hood. Finally made it back home as well. Hooah!

Academy sells the BSA Sweet 22, specifically designed for the 22. 3-9X40. Has 3 separate turrets for different weight bullets. Allows you to compensate for bullet drop out to 175 meters...assuming a 50 yard zero. Only $57. No, its not a nikon....but it is the best 22 scope for under $100. IMO. On the bottle of Mold and Mildew stain remover, its says: "Use only in a well ventilated area." If it were well ventilated, would it have mold and mildew in the first place?

I am opposite, I'm left handed, right eye dominant. I can close my left eye by itself. If I attempt to wink my right eye, they both close. Therefore, I shoot right handed.

I have 2 Bushnell banner 3-9X40 scopes. They are $79 at Walmart, Academy or online. No, they don't have all the features of $200+ scopes. The work, and work well.

Hardened steel targets for rifle
KaNaPaPi replied to KaNaPaPi's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Been a while since I've posted about the new targets. I've fired 22LR, 9MM, .223, .308, .30-06, 300 Win Mag and 45-70 at the bushhog blades. No breaks, no dents...just have to repaint them quite often. You can hear them from 200 meters away. You definitely know if you've hit them. -
After many years in the Army, I'm pretty sure that's a deployment to/from the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California. Yes, I'll spoil the joke.

AR15. 400 yard targets. Irons or red dots?
KaNaPaPi replied to vujade's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
"Most" red dots at that distance are not very effective. A 4 MOA dot at 400 yards is almost the width of a silouhette. Irons tend to wash out less at distance. (others will disagree with me). However, I think Leupold makes a 1 MOA reddot sight....that one might prove me wrong. I don't want to pay for it.
