  1. In the Air Fryer thread, we were talking about the Fry Daddy, which made me think of a fun topic. What are some things that kids these days simply wouldn't understand? Doesn't have to be 'a thing' it could be a common courtesy like shaking hands or an act like Sunday drives. A few examples:
  2. Fry daddy! Man, that has been a minute.... That was good stuff back in the day though. I'm pretty sure my mother still has ours in the bottom cabinet next to the George Foreman grill and the Popcorn Pumper.
  3. We don't have to flip with ours (to my knowledge). I guess it depends on quality of the fryer and the thickness of whatever you're cooking.

  5. oh 100% the same. Then she thinks i lavish her with mediocre products like air fryers
  6. I tend to overbuy for the wife because A.) She'll enjoy the luxury and make me food and B.) When i spend a ton on silly stuff, she may let me off the hook Plus, Costco had a sale, so i didn't pay MSRP.
  7. Seen more than a few family friends using the "instant" brand which seem pretty affordable. They have models with two trays so you can do like nugs and fries at the same time. I kinda like some of the Ninja stuff, so I bought one of these. lets us have pressure cooking, slow cooking and air fryer all in one. Bought without any research, so I can't tell if it's better or worse than other brands. However, we've been very happy with it. https://www.amazon.com/Ninja-FD401-Fryer-Stainless-Pressure-8-Quart/dp/B07S85TPLG
  8. @gregintenn If I've heard one complaint from people, it was always "I wish I bought the model with more capacity". Especially if you're feeding more than 2.
  9. I'm reading this proposals and all I see are a bunch of people who are compromising with people who want to take our God given rights. That's all this is. The left creates the 11 bozo squad to twist your words into gun control. I get that you're trying to stand up for our side, but that's NOT what they want. They want to find creative ways to twist everything you say into ways for them to get just a liiiiiiitle bit more control. Then they can say "look, even the gun owners agree!" My recommendation, enforce the laws you already have. I haven't broken them.
  10. I feel like the airfyer recipe list can be summed up as * pretty much anything is good. Try Salmon
  11. It's probably work done by interns and someone up the food chain just said "that's great, publish it". In my line of work I can't tell you how many times I've seen some ninja bullshido figures make it into a budget or proposal. Heck, sometimes it's just an outright lie because it looks good. Often from folks looking to get a promotion or to snag funding.
  12. Colion Noir said it best "That situation would have been better if everyone just stayed at home". Couldn't agree more.
  13. Thanks, not knocking the guy at all. Just didn't see him as the public speaker type.
  14. What's he speak about? I didn't follow anything about him beyond the trial.
  15. You got spots. Have you had that checked out?
  16. Never ask another man how old his banana is!
  17. it's the part where benecio basically puts his balls in dudes face isn't it?
  18. Just using it as an example. replace drugs with... hunting, driving a car, setting up a tent. whatever. Anything that might encroach on your rights as a property owner. That's my real point. Where is the line drawn between your rights and the owners?
  19. Not a fan honestly. I dislike places that won't allow me to carry, but that's why I won't patron them. However, it's their choice to lose my money. Let's replace firearms with something else. Some states allow drug use. Would I want to see a bill that allows drug users to enter my property/business and use? Maybe that's far fetched, but in other places, it isn't.
  20. Maybe you'll get lucky and it'll work itself out.
  21. Man that first Sicario was epic. For me, it was the Johan Johanson soundtrack (sadly, he died). He said he wanted to create a soundtrack that wasn't music, just purely suspense. Frickin NAILED it. The night raid scene still gets my hyped (that and the bridge) Also, it's fitting that in thermal, Emily Blunt looks like she's from They Live. OBEY! CONSUME!
  22. Late to the party on this one. Ya know... I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. It was FAR better than anything produced lately, but it just felt like one big trope. The original was campy but those characters felt larger than life. The pilots in his movie just seemed blah, the new love interest was blah, the final battle was literally (first time trying the spoiler tag)
  23. So did you tell him?
