  1. I wonder how long they will be visible. I remember that one in the mid 90's that seemed to hang up there forever.
  2. Ha... I shot a 29
  3. Yep, that's it! You're controlling a semi-auto pistol and shooting a target.... SWF file, so maybe they can't be linked?
  4. I think gun prices are easing but seriously doubt they will ever be back at the 'pre-apocalypse' level. Ammo will likely be scarce for some time to come, I'm taking a crash course in reloading from a friend!
  5. Well you both will have to trust me, it was as good as a Ford starter and handier than a shirt pocket.
  6. Hmmm, can't make it work, darn thing is broken. You all will just have to use your imagination.
  7. My buddy Dave sent this to me... Sitting here at my desk,  it's addictive!   http://deti.mil.by/templates/swf/Pistol/index.swf
  8. Dang, I could have used the furniture off that, and the sight block.
  9. Thanks for the replies, good to know that they do okay. Wanting to make sure that everything I have is 922r compliant, which is why I bought the mags to begin with. I know it's not enforced but I expect to see, at minimum, a tightening of rules and regulations and 922r being one of them.
  10. I went past Ken Arnold's booth today and he had 30 rnd. Tapco mags for AKs @11 bucks a piece. I picked up three of them. I never shot with a Tapco before and wonder what to expect. I know the majority of their stocks I've tried are typically slightly under par but serviceable, just never used the mags. I''d have picked up more but I am covered up in steel mags at this point.
  11. Has anybody shot one of them? Seen 'em today at the show and wondering just how good they are. I think the the price was under 650, but not real sure.
  12. Ha, get on here and post my concerns and wouldn't you know it, I get a tracking number in my email  :pleased:
  13.   No more so than anything else, unless there is something about golf balls I don't know?
  14. One of the finest pieces of writing I've read.
  15. Why is it every old 22 rifle I see I want... That is a good looking piece
  16.   I like that... I haven't gotten upset with 'em, I understand they are behind like everybody else. Sure is good to hear folks saying good things about them as I have only used them a few times and that being some years ago.
  17. I just checked it, January 2nd was when I placed the order, not in December. It's still active at the same price so maybe it will get filled.   My luck it will take a year and ammo will be at an all time low...
  18. Got an order in at SPG back in December for 62 gr. 223 at 37 cents per for a 1000 rounds. Pretty good deal even then and they sold out the next day or so,  hasn't been available since AFAIK.  It got back ordered within the first week and now I keep getting emails from them saying 'click here' to keep the order from being canceled.   I'm not mad or anything, just concerned that they are going to cancel it, either because it's unavailable or, more likely, they can fill smaller/more current orders at a higher price with my bullets. Not sure how ethical that would be on their part, but it could happen.   Anyone getting any ammo through them? I've only bought from them a few times, never had an issue of any sort.
  19. Not a terrible price and looks like they got quite allot of stuff in, but XM855 @ $1.50 a piece! Dang that's high.   http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/AMM-2230
  20. I been in the cabinet bidness for many years... This really works.
  21. Well it certainly eased my mind to know he's actually 'one of us' good ole boys, I'd have never 'thunked' it.
  22. Stock doesn't seem to be mounted to his shoulder properly.
  23. Only have two of these now, Dyna and Heritage, sure do miss my Ulysses though...
  24.   Soon as the demand falls... back to normal. They want to sell ammo, we want to shoot it...
