  1. I 'think' Sinclair and Brownells are possibly connected. Don't take that as gospel
  2. Yep, I've bought from them and will again most likely.
  3. Just raise the pin until it clears
  4. Inline 300/6 cylinder Ford, and what ever it's attached to.
  5. Nice to see, I guess the Russians are stepping up a bit even if the prices are still high, now if the 223 search could look so good...
  6. I couldn't imagine it hurting it.
  7. I did a Tapco stock on mine back about 10 years ago... Hated it so it's back to it's former self now.   Anything but the factory mag in them is a waste of time in my opinion.   I need to dig that old rifle out and go shoot it some.
  8. I hate spiders... hate hate hate 'em. Got bit by a Recluse one time, what a mess.
  9. Dang, ya'll shoulda' likened his rifle more better...
  10. It gets worse when you enlarge it
  11. Well, it's kinda like buying a Camaro, you can go out and get a 2013 with all the bells and whistles for 50k maybe and it will out perform a 100k '68 model in every aspect, but which one are you really gonna take to the show...?
  12. Looks great! I gotta ask, how are they on your ears when you fire them?
  13. I buy flea and tick collars for dogs, each ankle, wrist. Probably toxic or make your wanker fall off but it keeps them off of you in the woods, and you can re-use them.
  14. https://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/browse/pistol-ammo-22-ammo.aspx?c=95&s=903&stk=1
  15.   Seems like it would crush the jacket when you pressed the bullet
  16. You know, 22 LR is quickly being adapted by the gun world as darn near as good as currency. I've traded for, as well as with it several times this year. Never would I have thought 500 22's would get me 100 223 or vice-versa.
  17.   That was an atrocity
  18. Almost the worse sick I ever got was from a tick bite.   With a mild winter and all, bet they are really bad, wouldn't surprise me to see allot of dead or dying deer from them either
  19. Real good price, I gave $15 for Hornady recently. I wish they hadn't sold out the 500 round boxes.
  20. I got two Mini's now, bought one in the classifieds from a member here. It has the .625" barrel and will out shoot the older pencil barrel, but not by a lot. Slapped a 3x9 Simmons on it and ran a 100 hand loads through it,  I got 1" /3 round groups @ 50 yards. That's pretty good for a mini with no mods other than a couple of 45 caliber recoil buffer pads. It was still typically stringing shots (high right) by the 4th or 5th round.   This weekend will see it with an Accuracy Systems adj. gas block and an Amegarange rail.  After that I'll figure a way to mount an Accu-Strut. I think I can easily get it to 2" at a 100 yds., maybe even better.   The real problem with a Mini 14's accuracy is something that I think will never be cured.  You sit down at the bench, lay out a rest or bi-pod, carefully squeeze off a few 3 round bursts, get satisfied all is good in the world and ready to take on any AR... Then it all goes to hell as you start rattling off 30 round mags, one after the other, and complain about the accuracy later, as you gather up 2-300 rounds of brass to head home. Happens to me every time...
  21. I guess I got the last box of it... 50 bucks even with the loose change going to the NRA
  22. My wife recently got one of the 238's. It's a beautiful pistol and shoots really well. At 25 yards last week she put almost 50 rounds in the target, I don't think she ever missed. She's a better pistolero than me, but I also fired a few thru it with excellent results, very easy, consistent shooter for a 380.
  23. FWIW, I don't think they enjoy the best reputation but frankly I like them. IMO you got a steal at 200 for it, especially so in the condition you describe. Very nice score on your part.
  24. Useless bravado without pictures
  25. History of firing lead through the barrel?
