  1. Well, that about sums it up folks!   Dave
  2. The Clarksville Clan of TGO. I had a chance to renew some old friendships, and darn sure walked away with some new ones! Those pictured are; Ron Padilla, Jeremiah Padilla, DWARREN123, FortKnox, Omega, TNWNGR, Whiskey, DaveS (behind the camera) and TedS. I'll let them identify themselves if they wish. It was nice putting faces with names. Now for the range day! Thanks for good company Brothers! Dave
  3. It has nothing to do with eye witnesses. It has a lot to do with the laws in this state and how the evidence was presented during trial.  And, that evidence shows, had GZ stayed in his truck as directed. TM would have made it home, GZ would have no one to murde,r and we'd be talking about something else right now. But we all know that didn't happened. We know TM seen Zman sitting in his truck, pulled him out of his "safty zone" (truck) and crack his head open on the sidewalk. Which resulted in a 225 pound trained mixed marshal arts ninja having to shoot a 140 pound (?) teen because he couldn't fight his way out of a sack full of Barbie Dolls! That's why he's still assaulting Barbie Dolls to this day! He can't fight "men", he's a coward!   Dave
  4. I want to learn to knap flint and hone up on some rusty primitive skills....you know, like shine drinking and such! Are you going to come up Rob?   Dave
  5. User name, real name, same same! See ya then!   Dave
  6. Wednesday, 7pm at Casa Blanca next to Harbor Freight...Roger that! Name tags?     Dave
  7. You'd be surprised what could happen if we put our minds to it!   Dave
  8. Well, being a reenactor, I usually watch these shows for historical accuracy. This rack of "Trapdoor" Springfield's kind of did me in! I lost interest right then and there! Dave
  9. Not me....I've never been to either of them. Y'all just tell me where to be and when!   Dave
  10. Prayers to you Brother..You'll be in good hands!   Dave
  11. Other than breaking a few lower limbs, they did not damage the tree that I noticed.   Dave
  12. He has that "someone is cooking bacon" look on his face! Dave
  13. I had a pear tree growing on the edge of a field on my lease, and the deer had a path worn into the ground around that tree. They absolutely loved pears! I've seen the deer stand on their hind legs and pull a pear down. Check your pear species and find which one's are drought resistant. Also, some may need a pollinator.   Dave
  14. I may make a point to be there.   Dave
  15. I've never been there, but I trust your judgement  Omega! Someone make a decision here. Retirement checks come in on the 2nd. Let's go eat somewhere!   Dave
  16. Although a great idea, I don't know any Vet owned shops. Outside of that, I'm open to Shoney's or Casa Blanca...that's pretty centrally located.   Dave

    Thanks TGO

Best show on earth. Thanks to David and all his hard working mods!!! The members here aren't too darn shabby either!   Dave
  18. We are weird Brother...that's what make's this so fun!   Dave
  19. I don't even shoot my Crossbow beyond 30 yards. Hell of a shot Rob!   Dave
  20. I'd love to "bowhunt" again, but I can't due to a disability....with me...Crossbow is where it's at. But guess what, using a crossbow isn't any better than a high tech Compound, except a compound is much easier to handle and re-load in a climbing stand. Just my :2cents:   Dave
  21. All those calibers you named are fine deer cartridges. When I ran my Taxidermy shop, You would not believe the damaged junk people brought to me to mount that they harvested with a magnum cartridge. The look on their faces was priceless when I told them now much it would cost to repair the "damage", and worse yet, when I told them it couldn't be mounted.   Dave
  22. Ron, if you need a ride, I think I could arrange that. Just let me know.   Dave
