No worries. My thought was lower the plow blade down to the bottom on the skid and push the actual skid so as not to touch the actual contents. If not, call a few local landscapers (not bigger nurseries) and ask if they wanna make a little cash to move the skids with their bobcat. If you need names/numbers of some folks like that I can get them to you. Probably cheaper than even thinking of renting a skid steer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree. Have done a couple trades with Jonathan. Always good to talk to and on time.

So that storage unit isn't too far from me...I have an atv with a plow that could be used to push the skid while it's on a pallet jack...obviously you'd want a piece of plywood or something between the plow and the material on the skid. Like some others have said, 2 or 3 sheets of plywood cut to strips for runners is the ticket. Pm me if you want to discuss more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Best advice I can give is call quick and move quick. Pick a spot (in the woods preferable) and make a set. Call every twenty to thirty seconds for about 3 min then give it 3 min of quiet. Repeat. If nothing then move. You don't always have to move far, as I've called, had nothing, moved about 200 yards and called again and they come in. Happened fairly recently with another member here too! Their range is pretty big, so don't give up or get discouraged. Try to have 3 or 4 different calls so you don't educate them. If all else fails, grab a turkey mouth call (the more reeds the better) and make it sound like a hurt dog. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

GSSF Match - Music City Tactical Shooters
Wiljo05 replied to HOGNUT's topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
Packed up as well and about to head toward Dickson. First GSSF Shoot for me. Looking forward to it. -
I'll second the Rock Island. Own several and played with many, for the money they are tough to beat.

Similar...does it have ghost springs inside? I got light hits as well as an odd lock up feeling after a trigger connector bar and reduced springs. I yanked all but the bar out of mine and went stock. This was on a g34

I am sure I have some scraps laying around...pm me and I'll send me your way

So here are a few more pics of my second project. There is a photo above of the initial mold. My thrown together press Back mold Both halves Assembled, riveted, but still need to put a slight bend so it contours the body Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll be there. Will also be bringing a buddy. Will try to get there early to help set up. If you need a headcount on the classifier afterward there will be 2 of us needing a classifier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That is slick!

Here is the initial mold for my XD9. I like a high ride so I am experimenting on how much material to leave at the bottom. I'll try to post some pictures of the process/steps if I think about it. If anyone has tips/comments is love to hear. Side note: When I saw the sublimated dye on this piece of kydex I had to order it. FDE with an OD green flag. A little nerve wracking during the molding process since it's thick, and the only one like it that I have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm using a yard sale toaster oven. It has a thermo on it so I set it at 300 for about 3 min, then bump it to 375 for 30 or so seconds and then toss it on the foam press.

Will get you a list of what I'm using. I think I have less than $6 in that one.

Been looking for a decent holster for my newly aquired G34 IDPA gun and not having much luck. Well I say that, every holster I strapped on felt like I had a shoe box stuck on my hip! So I ordered the stuff and this is what I have so far. Still need some cleanup and polishing the edges but I think I'm gonna like it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They got me too. Just the other day in fact. First Glock I've ever owned. Bought a G34 for a tournament gun.have to say with a couple hundred rounds down already I think I like it.

Music City Tactical Shooters--IDPA Match May Third
Wiljo05 replied to Mechanic_X's topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
I'm in. Edit: will be at Nashville Armory IDPA tomorrow night also -
One side she was fairly clean, but the other looked like she had some mange. Most of the ones I've taken lately have been pretty clean. They seem to absolutely thrive in my area. Just about every night a pack or two sound off. Sometimes it sounds like as many as 10-15 dogs!

This one was in a .223 AR. 50grain vmax with 25 gr of H335 I believe. Bipod down and laying prone on the back porch.
-
Guess I need to look up and see where it is!

So I decided to make a call or two from the porch 2 days ago. We have some new calves and the yotes have been getting brave. This one stepped out of the creek line. Range finder said 342 to the house. Missed first shot, follow up shot stopped her where she stood. It was far enough away that i heard the impact post report. One less coyote to mess with the calves. We've lost 2 calves so far this year to them, and with cattle prices like they are, that can make a big difference! https://www.dropbox.com/s/3qjwvpk1cqjroag/photo.JPG

What is the price per sq yard or sq ft?

I've never looked thru the BSA Sweet 223, but if it's similar to any other BSA (not that there is anything wrong with them, I have one on a spare muzzle loader) the Nikon outperforms it on clarity, light gathering, and holding zero. Now keep in mind this is referencing my previous BSA experience and not on the specific one you mentioned... Also keep eye relief in mind as the Nikon is pretty forgiving.
